Annie Award Nomination for Futurama

The 2002 Annie award nominations have been released and Futurama has been given one of the 5 slots in the category "Outstanding Achievement in an Animated Television Production". In addition, Futurama Director Rich Moore was nominated for his work on the Emmy Award winning episode "Roswell That Ends Well" (category "Directing in an Animated Television Production").

This year, the 30th Annual Annie Awards will be held Saturday February 1st, 2003 in Glendale, California - 11 days before the first anniversary of Futurama's "no go" decision by FOX. Let's hope the recent recognition Futurama received from animation and media experts gives FOX a clue.
