Futurama Season 2 DVD Details

The Futurama Season 2 DVDs are being released around Europe in November 2002. They can be preordered at 20% off (£31.99) from amazon.co.uk and for €50 at amazon.de.
If you are outside of Europe, check if your DVD player is 'hackable' to region 2 and can convert from PAL. PS2 can be chipped to play them.

The good thing is: If you have what's needed, importing the Futurama DVD set is all the nicer: When ordering from outside the EU, amazon removes the VAT which gets you a grand total of 31% off! This means even with shipping the DVDs will only be around $48 to the US.

The set will include 4 DVDs packed with a whopping total of 19 Futurama episode:

    The Season 2 episodes originally aired from November 21th 1999 to December 3rd 2000 on FOX in the USA. With 19 episodes, it was the first full season for the show. Many fans currently see this season as plainly the best. Gems include "Xmas Story" in which SantaBot comes to town to see who was naughty, "The Problem with Popplers" with a weird twist and "Anthology of Interest I" where the authors show us three "what if?" stories - the equivalent to the treehouse of horror episode of The Simpsons.
    This Futurama DVD set is a must-have.

    The release date varies a bit from nation to nation. The UK DVDs are expected to be released on November 11th and Germany will see a a slightly earlier release (read our step-by-step guide on how to preorder from amazon.de).

    Regarding the USA: The Futurama Season 2 DVD set is scheduled to be released in September 2003 read the review for more. The Futurama Season 1 DVD set is out since March 25th 2003.
