Animation, continuity, and other goofs...
- Kif has a camouflage reflex which he says is activated when nervous. He sure was most nervous when calling Amy in "Amazon Women in the Mood" but there was no sign of his reflex then. {MW}
- In the overhead shot, just before the group enter the nose of the Great Stoneface of Mars, Betsy is right besides Kif. In the next groundshot she is gone, and she also gone when they are inside the nose. Only when Kif needs her to rescue Amy does she appear again. {MN}
- What is with Leo and Inez Wong? They don't like Kif in this episode, yet they were the ones who set up Amy with him on the Titanic! {M}
- One reason why Leo and Inez liked Kif back then could be that he was a captain then. {JS}
- In this episode Mars' surface is red, desert-like and though the air is breathable much more like Mars in reality. In "Mars University" Mars is overgrown with rainforests. How can that be when Leo and Inez claim that they own "the best hemisphere", that ought to be the most fertile one for cattle? {MF}
- Well, this is Leo and Inez after all... Even if they don't own the best hemisphere, why would they admit that? {A}
Comments and other Observations...
- The public service ad "People Start Pollution, People Can Stop It" by 'Keep America Beautiful' first aired 1971 on Earth Day. It is seen as one of the most memorable campaigns in advertising history and coined the phrase "Crying Indian" for the actor Iron Eyes Cody {MW}
- Normally when something makes a character sick, the character turns green. When Kif lights up the cigarette, he turns yellow, since he is already green. {R}
