Nibbler is a respected
Lord on his home planet Eternium and is posted under cover as a 'dumb'
pet so as to guard against impending attacks from the flying brains, Nibblonian's
arch enemies. Their race was there since the begining of time and are
very intelligent, if a little TOO cute. Rescued from Vergon 6 by Leela
when the planet started to implode. His excrement (dark matter) is used
as starship fuel and previously it filled the core of Vergon 6 until a
DOOP mining crew mined the planet hollow. He has an enormous appetite
and can eat large animals whole, one of his favourites being puppies.
He does not, however, eat humans or even hurt them. He lives with Leela.
