Robo-Hungarian Empire
A pseudo empire of mostly simple peasant stock Robots in eastern Europe. Originally started in Hungary (UEC), it spread over most of the surrounding countries, including Romania in particular. After many years, its capital, Thermostadt, was moved there and thrived. A seemingly bad-weather magnet, possibly due to the crops grown there, the hills surrounding Thermostadt are also home to a rich line of robots, off which Bender is related. One of the most recent heads of this line was Bender's own uncle, Vladimir whose death brought the current Planet Express Team to the funeral. It was also the place where Bender contracted the WereCar virus, and where he returned to begin his search for the cure. |
