Great comic! The plot was a classic Futurama death mission. Scruffy had a great starring role, and it was hillarios how Fry sacked-out in Benders arms.

As always, the comic is almost if not just as good as the television show. I loved the play on curling, and Scruffy had his biggest starring role ever in a Futurama plot. Good stuff, don't sleep on this one.

A deus ex machina is a unrealistic thing used in roman n greek drama that comes in and saves the day in a cheap way. Great stuff n stays in with all the character excellently...Now scruffy says get a goin!

First Futurama comic I've bought. Entertaining read, couldn't imagine it being a produced episode, but for a dedicated fan such as myself it was definitely worth the couple bucks.

it started really bad but in the end seemed to get better. why is Scruffy such a big deal in the comic books. in the series he is barly in it and no one even knows who he is. this is the only thing that made this comic bad because they do this in simpsons comics all the time. got better in the end but its been done before best issuals are 1-6, 9 and cross over

Meh, that's the overall impreson you get after reading this issue. Not bad, but just so bloody average! The story was likable but not very original and pretty juvenile. What's great about Futurama comics (normally) is that they don't tone down the stories for children, but this issue feels like they did just that! The artwork in this issue was also pretty poor, ive said it before and i'll say it again, "Damn you John Delaney, learn how to draw Fry!)
