For the record - I also gave 5s to Spanish Fry and Bend Her. In other words, I enjoy both silly and the shipper episodes equally. I'm sure anything I could say has already been said in this forum, but I don't have time to read all of the reviews just now. To everyone involved in the series, thank you for 72 wonderful episodes and a perfect end to the series. Just please tell me someone fished Bender's crotch plate out of the garbage can. Great jokes, wonderful music and a really sweet ending. "Stop being a baby and chop off my hands!" God I'm going to miss this show. I've been sorry to see other shows end, but this is the first one that actually makes me sad to lose. Oh well, Tuesday will bring me S2 DVDs and 2004 should bring the rest. Futurama will be a part of my life for a long, long time to come.

Quite an amazing finale. Brilliant setup for the final act (the shot of Leela going deaf when Bender blasts his air horn is great, especially with the multiple zooms, as it seems to be confirming something a lot of us were expecting and doing it in a really cool way). I originally wondered about the scene where Leela talks to Fry on the PE Building balcony, thinking her realization happened a bit too fast....but then I realized that the point of this episode was to give Fry the means to express what he hasn't been able to for the entire series, with the exception of Parasites Lost (almost a precursor to this ep). The Devil's Hands work on the same level as the holophoner itself, a tool to help him tell Leela what's been locked away inside of his brain that keeps getting stuck or mangled on the way out. So the scene makes perfect sense. Third act itself was incredible. I think the opera trumps every other major scene in the series, brilliant lyrics and music. And some great lines from the Hedonismbot. The last sequence was perfect in my book. It cuts to show that Leela is the only person who didn't leave, and her last line echoes the request of the fans who've been with the series for so long, "I want to know how it ends." Fry's finale answers both questions in my book. Great episode.

thought that The Sting was one of the greatest futurama's ever - recieving a rating of 5 by me, We got to see the end result of Fry's stuggle to gain the love and respect from Lela which was the best way to end this great series. Thanks for one of my all time greatest shows. You will be missed Futurama!

Great bits of naughty fun. I loved the premise, the execution and the ultimate finale of this episdoe. Good spread of the characters and an almost tear-jerking ending. Fox can bite my pasty-white ass. They absolutely, positively do not know a good thing when they see it. Hence, "Banzai".

i give it a five just for the robot devil. hes my 3rd favorite character behing zapp and zoidberg. but why does the apperance of him always result in singing? Dan castellaneta must like to sing. Zoidberg's a good singer, but sadly, amy isn't. funny episode at certain points. semi-good story. an emotional episode too.

Did anyone else cry? The final Futurama and 'The Pianist' were equally moving.

A great ending to my favorite series of all time. It might not have been the funniest episode, but it had an excellent combincation of that and emotion. All that's left now is to hope that Futurama continues on another channel and to get the DVDs for remembrance. Kudos to the creators/writers/animators for an amzing job. we will never forget...Futurama.
