John C you are wrong, Brannagin Begin Again thats what helped Hermes explain what doop is.

In the first episode space pilot 3000 frys head gets hit by a sliding door just as he says "cool just like in star trek" and when he sees leonard nemoys head in a jar he says "spock? hey do the thing"

*sighs*

Great, absolutely great. Being a Trekker myself, this is me favourite episode! I spoke to Walter Koenig, the person who lent his voice to Chekov in the episode and he said he totally enjoyed doing the episode. 5/5

I thought this episode rocked. The reference to Welchie, you know Scottie, was great. Then later on Kirk and Spoke saying they need to destroy the enemy and both of them saying "Dooin". Anyone who likes ST TOS and Futurama has to Love this episode!!!!

Being a fan of both series, this episode was even better. Plenty of satire on the actors and their lives.

"I mean, look at Walter. After Star Trek, he became an actor."

Absolute Hilarity - 5 Stars

Well if this was gonna be the last Ep, it sure woulda been a good one to go out on.
Plenty of Trek gags, and a good plot that pokes fun at the show itself. Extra point for majority of the original cast too. Gotta love Jonathan Frakes line/cameo.
Great stuff!

I live in Australia, and I've got it even worse than you Americans in that I've got to stay up until 11:30pm to watch a Futurama episode. As such, I haven't seen many, but this week I did and this episode came on and I almost woke the rest of the house laughing so much. Some of the Star Trek in jokes may have gone past a few people, like Shatner ripping his shirt off when they started fighting and then for no reason suducing and making out with a female (in this case Leela). Also the classic where an unknown character, in this case Welshy, is introduced only to be killed for no reason (in this case repetatively).

Excellent episode. I hope the rest are this good.
