Personally I think Zapp is overrated but it's still a great episode.

A very big drop from the previous episode, the only saving grace here is that it introduces Nibbler, which sets further episodes most important character. However, the humor, the storyline, and *especially* the cover-up parts. Still, it was a good try...

Zapp is great, but once you know him none of these lines are his best. Least favorite episode from Season 1. It just gets too plotty about Leela and Zapp and Bender, Fry, Farnsworth, and Zoidberg have nothing to do.

*Sigh* The first season had it all. This episode is a perfect example of that. I love Zapp's sexual innoudos:

Leela: "Look, are you gonna rescue us or not?"
Zapp: "Can't you ask a little more sexfully?"
Leela: "Pleeeeease, big Z?"
Zapp: "Certainly! But first you'll have to get rid of that thing. That's the law, Leela. And Brannigan's Law is like Brannigan's love - hard and fast."

Love It!

A solid episode from the still early, introductory days. This one introduces us to Nibbler, Kif and the wonderful Zapp Brannigan.
