Great episode. Best bit was Zoidberg's speech, "I'm not saying the Professor's old, but if you consider his age he's likely to die soon!"

"I've got ...erm.. Talking Hump Syndrome"
"Oh right, THS."

As usual the Futurama team have created an excellent episode. Again they use a single linear narritive to make the story more coherent, as opposed to the 1-and-a-half stories as seen in later episodes like "The Cryonic Women".

Brilliant use of 3D modelling to create the interiors and exteriors of the near-death star. A new character, Cubert, is also introduced to be as annoying as possible, so we feel relief and happiness when he has his change of heart.

Overall, all facets of production have combined to create what is one of the seminal episodes of Futurama.

Great episode. The animation was really good, and the whole "the universe moves, not the ship" thing was thought provoking. My favorite part was when the crew was trying to wake the Professor.

"You can tell a lot about a man by the friends he keeps. So here is the the Professor's oldest and dearest friend, a disgusting space monster!"

Or something like that

The reason the french were using the word ''seven'' not ''sept'' counting down to the mellenium in ''Space Pilot 3000''. Is that french WAS a dead language because when professor fransworth introduced cubert all his life long invention he shows a translator that he translated a dead language and when cubert says ''hello'' the machine says ''bonjour''.

this episode is fairly under rated going by the amount of people who havent submitted a reveiw.

But this is without a doubt a brilliant episode, the matrix and star wars parodys and the reaper looking bot coming to collect the old was a pisser
