The episode is really more about Leela's relationship with her parents than the whole superhero schtick.

I found Bender to be pretty much "on character"--the poor moral guidance and desperate need to be the center of attention are some of his trademarks.

Some eps are comedy classics, some are dramatically 'shippy, some are just good goofy fun. This one was a tad 'shippy AND just good goofy fun, and I enjoyed it for what it was.

Not a fantastic episode, but I thought it had some great one-liners and a decent plot. Bender with the crown will always be funny, and I liked the "net gain" bit with Mayor Poopenmeyer.

Anyway, it would have been a 3 but it gets an bonus point just because I haven't seen a new episode in so long.

Not bad. Not great, but it didn't try to be. Just kind of a good, old fashoned "throw-away" episode with no real importance in the story arc, but a funny one. Hoping we'll get some heavier stuff later in the season.

i love Futuram but was pretty dissappointed with this one. of few good oneliners but just didnt keep my attention very well.

maybe its just me but the aniamtion seemed quite a bit lacking from previous episodes. the characters were poorly drawn and just werent pleasing to the eye.

This episode was so great! I haven't seen a new episode of Futurama for a long time and this was certainly what we needed. A classic episode with a great script and nonstop laughs. My only regret is that I didn't get it on tape so I could watch it again.

Lets face it, we have all seen better. Doesn't mean I won't watch it a million times though!

I think people are being too hard on this one. No, it wasn't Futurama at the top of its game, but it had the character of one of those episodes that just fills out the season well by giving you a a lot of light-hearted laughs. It works better when you have weekly episodes instead of this being the first "new" episode in what, 18 months? That's what it feels like!

Hey, if you don't agree with me, do as the lobster sez...

the mutants with the big ears and mouth were hilarious.
and bender always being behind leela and fry was funny, too.
