I've been waiting a long time for another true 'Delivery-Gone-Sideways' episode and I was not disappointed. The density of jokes really ratcheted up for this one, almost as tightly spaced as Law and Oracle- in some spots, more so. Another instant classic, and a reminder of how good this show gets.

They got creative with the '4th dimensional' aspect of the whale, which was nice- I wasn't sure if it was going to be 'sci-fi because why not' or 'we're going somewhere'.

Good to see more of Zoidberg being written like Zoidberg, good to see Leela being written more like Leela.

This show is a lot of fun with the core three, and with the ensemble, and it's nice to see the fundamentals back after all the new mixes in 6a.

In short, this hit all the right spots. Same time next week?

Awesome episode, so many funny jokes! Also i liked the fact that it had a back story (the first crew thing). The space whale and the bermuda tetrahedron were cool too.

the high grades for this episode are quite inexplicable to me. i lost interest about halfway through, and only watched the last half off and on. quite a boring story, and the backstory on the original crew was uninteresting as well. this season is worrying me quite a bit so far.

Awesome ep on acid. It had the magic of the first seasons.

What a brilliant episode. Too many hilarious jokes to add, but I would like to say that this was as good as 'itwgy'. Awesome. I love this show.

This wasn't an awful episode (the only worse ones I can think of would be Duh-Vinci Code or the Holiday one), but it was far from deserving so many 5's. It seemed very forced and there was not enough explanation as to why Leela was suddenly so out of character and, frankly, annoying as hell.

Still, it had a bunch of great references and one-liners, and Scruffy's jab at the writing at the end was hilarious.

Not horrible, but certainly not "clasic futurama," unless you are comparing to A Leela of Her Own (also a bad Leela-centric ep)

Cool concept, but it wasn't funny at all.

On the plus side - I liked the animation.

On the minus side - Fry's humor has gone from being sophomoric and hilarious to preschool level and cringworthy.
