I rewatched it and what can i say, Futurama improved much over the seasons, so "only" 3 pts.

In retrospective it's not one of the best ep. Ok, it's just an opener, but this aspect doesn't make it a better ep.

Noticably an opener. I'm glad Futurama developed into a show which can carry its own weight.

Time told us that Futurama evolved much (and hopfully will be continued without stagnation like in the Simpsons).

i started rewatching my futurama tapes, episode by episode. Thought i just give my two cents after watching em.

Anyway, excellent pilot series, great introduction to the other characters without being too deliberate.

Also, nice to see how Fry reacted differently to him being assign as a delivery boy again, when he finds himself delivering on a cool spaceship.

Just your usual opener. A solid one but nothing to cheer about. Look at the following two seasons and you'll know what i mean.
Futurama kicks shiny metal ass!

This is one of the best episodes of Futurama. It makes me laugh, but I have a question: Why Nibbler appeared? I still don't know.
