This episode was one of the best i love how you get to see him before he was frosen i think it was really cool how bender got jelaese and the mushroom in the shower joke was cool. i think there wasn't any one who didn't shead a tear when the dog waited in the same spot for 7 years waiting for him to come back like he promised.snif snif

There isnt a rating I can give this episode. Unfortunately the rating is mandatory, so im giving it a 3. This episode stood out over all the episodes. Obviousely I didn't read all 762 previous reviews but I read the first couple. Holy crap am I glad that i'm not the only one who cried after this episode. I couldn't agree more with the 1st review; Futurama has the emotional punch that the Simpsons never had. I don't know if that's a good thing so thats why I gave it the rating that I did. Personely I don't like things that make me cry, but what am I supposed to do about it. Like the 1st review said; they pick the perfect song at the end to make you sad. This isn't the only one that made me sad but it's the only one that made me cry. The others are the ones like "Time Keeps On Slippin" where Fry tries hopelessly to get Leela to like him until he does the perfect thing but thanks to the time skips he forgets what he did and Leela thinks he tricked her. In the end he finds out he moved the stars to make a love note in the sky only to have it imploded before Leela could see it. And it's that kind of thing that happens all the time in Futurama which is what makes the first reviewers point so valid. The problem with Fry is that, well, he's a moron. That's why he can't get a date with Leela, and thats why it makes you feel sorry for him. This episode on the other hand is not Leela related but it is even more sad than something that is and thats why this episode is so freakin' sad. I probably would prefer a stupid but funny episode than a funny but sad one.

What the hell is with this episode!? The shows meant to be a comedy. Too much sentiment not enough jokes. I prefer episodes where I'm left thinking about how funny it was, not how sad it was.

definately one of the top ten episodes. Not as good as luck of the fryrish, but an exellent tear jerker. the song at the end plus the fact that my two dogs were sitting next to me really increased the effect of an already sad episodes. brilliant script. Why doesn't Matt write new eps. for cartoon network? with all its popularity now, I'm sure that they would welcome new ones. who needs fox anyway?

I loved this episode. It made me cry so much, damn it! The last shot of the dog resting its head on its paws! I've been listening to the song and I just cry so hard. I will wait for you by Connie Francis. I wanna thank futurama for this episode. It was really different.
Long live Seymore!

I am so glad I wasn't the only one who cried his eyes out when I saw this episode. I felt terrible the following days. I really wished Matt would have made an alternate ending, because it's tough to live with that kind of sadness.

I cried like a child. I am trying now to find that song. If you can send me the exact artist name on email, I will be very grateful.

I Just Watched This Episode For The First Time Not Even A Week Ago, The Night I Watched It, I Couldn't Get To Sleep, Each Time I Closed My Eyes The Last Scene Of The Episode Would Roll Through My Head. A Really Powerful Episode, Even More So Than The "Luck Of The Fryish" Ending. Classic Show, Too Bad They Didn't Cancel The Simpsons 9 or 10 Seasons Ago And Kept This Show Going.

P.S. To Peter The Song Is Called "If It Takes Forever I Will Wait For You" And Is Preformed By Connie Francis. It's A Little Tough To Find, But Well Worth It.
