A little background before I start. Originally, the opening of this season was intended to be Silence of the Clamps. But, at the last minute, the executives at CC decided it sucked, (which it did) so they switched the opening to Neuptonia. In my opinion, this was a mistake. Although Neuptonia was less of an embarrassment than Silence of the Clamps would've been, it was still terrible. My question is: why didn't they switch the opening to this episode? They REALLY should've opened with Cold Warriors, but I guess it wasn't ready at the time. But, this was ready, and it was way better than Neuptonia. Now, for my actual review. This was a pretty good episode. It was less losely plotted than episodes in the last season, which made it more interesting and less tedious. Also, it was somewhat funny and kind of interesting. Overall, I think they could've done better, but it worked better than most of the new episodes.

I like that is episode humanizes Bender. Normally, he's a selfish jerk, so it's nice to see his soft side. This worked much better than the other episodes of this season.

I liked the ending. In my opinion it had the best pacing of any episode this season.
