To get an idea of what the casing will look like, check out Action-Figure.com. If you want the entire set, you can pre-order it for 30$US at BigBadToyStore.com, or you can wait until it hits stores and retails for about 5$ or 7$ per set of two.
FUTURAMA COMICS #17 By Boothby & Delaney Fry, Leela, Bender, and Cubert return to Earth from last issue's outer space adventure at boarding school only to find the planet Earth complete uninhabited. But before they can figure out where everyone has gone, they are forced to defend the planet from alien invaders who try to claim it under Intergalactic Planetary Salvage Laws. Fight the Future with Futurama Comics this May! Relase date: May 26th
FUTURAMA COMICS #18 By Verrone & Rivette After defending their recently uninhabited world from alien invaders, Fry, Leela, and Bender set out to discover the whereabouts of their missing colleagues as well as billions of citizens from Planet Earth. But "where are they?" soon turns into "when are they?" and "how" and "why" also make a little appearance in Part 2 of "Time Bender Trilogy." Yes, there's time travel - so bring a change of clothes!
I don't really know what's up with this. This confuses me. #17 is suppose to be part two, but #18 is? I don't even know when #18 will be released... Eh, if anyone knows what's up, make a comment. Marc is a lazy bum who does NOTHING on this website at all... So I'm left to take charge of his little game called "Dub the frame" - What is this, you ask? Well, it's simple: we post a framegrab, you caption it, and win absolutely nothing! I'll update it about every other week or so. So go get dubbing! But please, for the sake of our visitors, try to be creative. |

Katey Sagal, the beloved voice of Leela, will be releasing her second pop album June 1st. There aren't any samples of the album online at this moment, but it can be pre-ordered at amazon.com for $16.98. There's an article about Katey, the new album, and her past at NY Daily News. Here's a tidbit from it:
Sagal, a singer for 30 years, releases her second album, "Room," a collection of pop originals and classics, on June 1.
[...] "When I made my first record, in '94, it was harder for people to see me in a different way because I was ensconced in Peg's red wig," says Sagal, 50, who played shoe salesman Al Bundy's wife for more than a decade on the raunchy sitcom. Thanks to Venus for pointing this out to us. |
