The Omicronians are big fans of Single Female Lawyer, a show from the 20th century. Outraged that the last episode was destroyed before airing, they threaten to destroy earth if they can't see it.

this episode is great. great jokes. "single female lawyer, sleeping with her clients, wearing sexy mini skirts and being self-reliant".......funnAAAYYYY. Lrrr may have given it "a C plus, okay, not great," but i thought it was EXCELLENT

'When Aliens Attack' is a very funny, fast and satirical episode of Futurama, if still showing the series is not comfortable with its position yet. Lrr rules!

While going through the futurama dvds for the umpteenth time, I found myself laughing more at this episode than I remember.
So many one-liners and well setup jokes packed into on episode. Zapp is brilliant in this one.
If you ignore the overall average storyline, the individual performances and jokes more than make up for it - its become one of my favourites.

One of the best episodes from the first production season. A very simply alien-invasion plot which keeps things from being too complicated, and hilarious -a lot of which is down to Zapp Brannigan.
