Not a bad episode at all. First new one ive seen in a while, so this made it better. I like the part where bender questions who is going to make him waffles. Darn it! Why is Fox cancelling Futurama!

I missed te first few minutes, but the rest of the episode was quite good. Not one of the best eps, but a pretty solid one, and a real change of pace.

Much better than expected. The plot sounded horrible and contrived, like a really bad TNG episode, but the end product was great. Touching with a sick sense of humor, about the most i could ask for.

After the first viewing, I think this episode will become classic. Very impressive effort on many levels. The quality of animation and use of CGI was excellent. I also appreciate the way it was used to tell the story instead of say "look what I can do with my big computer". Next, the romantic story told from Leela's point of view instead of the typical Fry's attempts to woo was excellent. A real breath of fresh air, and it was told well instead of just trying to work with the novelty of it. This is another of the 'Bender doing another language' eps. Very well done this time. It clearly brought back memories of reading about the 'bee waggle' (that's the scientific term) when in grade school science class. Also the finding of the black box from the previous crew was hilarious. Oh, and yet another excellent musical number. I have seen Bobby in person a few times and have loved every show. So, it's always nice to hear a tribute to his work. This kind of episode makes one mad all over again that the series was not allowed to mature and grow over a longer run. It had the audience, but never the network management. Just goes to show that it's all in the attitude. Instead of treating Futurama as 'the next generation of quality in prime time animation and a true sucessor to the Simpsons' it was despised as an attack to the bread and butter of FOX. Too bad they passed up on an opportunity to create a whole new traditon/generation from a series that is, quite frankly, tired and ready to be retired. Anways, regarding "The Sting", bravo! Very well done. I haven't been really blown away by any eps yet this season, so it's really nice to see the series leave me with a bang instead of a whimper.
