Wow. Incredible. Had the same kind of plot device as the Star Trek TNG episode where Riker is trapped in an alien insane asylum. (I think it was "Schisms.") But that episode pissed me off. I think "The Sting" used the device far more successfully. It felt like it was an hour long, rather than only half-an-hour. (In a good way.) Much like "Roswell That Ends Well. There was just so much cool stuff going on, and so many great references. This felt like a "reward" episode for loyal viewers. Emotionally, it was at the top. Perhaps just a half-tick below "Luck of the Fryrish," but above everything else. ("Leela's Homeworld" and "Time Keeps on Slippin'" felt a bit contrived, and "Jurassic Bark" was too damned depressing.) Funniest gag: the radiator "woman," no question. :) Had me on the floor. I also loved seeing the previous Planet Express Ship, and hearing the previous crew. The only flaw was the Professor knowing about the guillotine and France. (As we know, French is an incomprehensible dead language.) A top-notch episode, with a great ending.

The plot was slick, the humor was quality, and the character development was fucking fantastic. I think this episode broke some ground for an American animated series, it's actually building a cohesive underlying story with characters that have... shockingly enough, CHARACTER. wasn't the all time funniest ep, but definitely has become one of my all-time favorites futurama episodes. Oh yeah, and hex on Fox for being lame.

This is an episode that shows once again why Futurama is the best animated show at these days: The animations keep a high level without getting too much in the foreground. And the people making it have the courage to tell unusual stories, which mix romantic and funny parts. Kind of: "Where no cartoon writer has gone before..." Above someone says: "principal characters canīt die"... I wouldnīt be too surprised if the Futurama guys would even break this "cartoon law" in the future. Though it is a great episode, I nearly only gave it a 4 because of the middle part (especially the song part... but beginning and end deserve a 5 rating, and therefore it gets it ;) My favourite joke came at the end: "u could really use a shower" "u too!" That kept me laughing 3 more minutes after the ep was over :) Shame on FOX! Get Futurama going again!

Absolutely awesome ep, kept me guessing right till the end. It began great, and the whole bee hive thing was rad. Some of the shots and angles they used were just as sweet as the honey itself. The animation throughout this episode was absolute class, plenty of eye candy. The story was so unique, but in a really cool way. Nice twists, some action, some humour, and lots of romance too. It was cool to see the whole P.E crew used. This ep really shows what advantages animation can have. I also thought the score was fantastic, it really helped convey the emotion, and maybe even the best score of any ep so far. I loved the whole thing. It does kinda set the impression of finality, but it's really deep, and felt a lot longer than it was.
