I laughed, I cried. Extremely well-written, quite humorous and topped off by a deeply touching ending.

Without hesitation, five out of five. Anyone rating this lower should be shot.

I LOVE this episode! I think this is my favorite one. It's so sweet and romantic and I like the way the plot of the story goes. I didn't know what was really going on until the end the first time I saw it. :D

Wow...After "The Why of Fry," I didn't think the show could hit a much higher note, but this might be the best of them all.

I think some people miss what has happened with Futurama. The Simpsons, while a great and funny show, is completely contained in a vacuum. Everything is always exactly the same. Every episode starts from exactly the same point, the characters never change or learn anything from what they've done. It makes it very easy to write and be funny becuase everything is always the same: Homer is always retardedly stupid, Lisa is always too smart and preachy for her own good, Barney is always drunk, Ned is always happy and in love with Jeebus, etc.

With Futurama, the show aspired to be more than a one-note comedy. Characters are dynamic: they grow and change over the course of the show. Their actions derrive from real personality and character, rather than a quirk or two that keeps getting repeated ad-naseum.

It's been said before, this show was killed in it's prime by FOX. I wish there was some way to get more episodes done, but sadly that will never happen. Thank sweet Zombie Jesus that the DVDs will keep things alive for years to come.

This show is so good it gives my stomach butterflies just thinking about it. And it's episodes like this one that tell a reason why. Futurama is hilarious as all hell, but when they want to get emotional/dramatic they DO IT.

I just love it.
