#473 by futuramashouldreturn This is one of the few episodes that, despite its slim and sort of unimaginative premise ("it's only a dream"), was thoroughly entertaining even if it leaned more on developing Leela's character than the humor. Not that there weren't any good lines: Bender: "A hush comes over the crowd...the only sound is Bender callingeveryoneajerkasheSWINGS!" And of course, "Bzz Bzz Bzz!" The whole point though, was to give some justification to the romance between Leela and Fry which, for a change, is from Leela's perspective, rather than Fry's -- a much more refreshing take on that subplot (we've seen Fry pine for Leela for quite a while already). I also was entertained by the fate of the Professor's former crew, which gives the plot points more depth. I thought the ending was really cry-worthy(although, to be fair, I hadn't watched the other emotional episodes then). The fact that Fry never gave up on Leela which in turn pushed her never give up subconsciously was just touching. futuramashouldreturn gave 5 points 13.12.2004
