Mom is a very old but very ruthless founder and owner of Mom s friendly robot company, one of the cornerstones of it being Mom's old fashioned robot oil which is used by most robots on earth. She has three sons: Walt, Larry and Ignar. They all work for the company, helping to do her dirty work. Back during the time when Farnsworth worked for Mom's Friendly Robot Company, they had a fling which ended when Mom kept turning Farnsworth's cute inventions into mad, killing machines.
