Q: Are there going to be any Futurama movies made?
A: Yes, this might happen. Matt Groening and David X. Cohen have stated that they want to make a Futurama trilogy. But at this moment, there are no plans for making a Futurama full length film.

Q: Are there any Futurama video games in the works yet?
A: Yes, UDS is producing a Futurama game for the Xbox, PS2 and GameCube. It should be out at the end of 2002.

Q: Where are episode downloads? Where can I download episodes?
A: CGEF does not host or link to episode download due to the fact that it is unethical and illegal.. Please do not email or post asking about episode downloads.

Q: Where can I download scanned Futurama comic books?
A: As said above, we do not host or link to places that have this type of material.

Q: Can I link with CGEF / support CGEF?
A: Yes! Sure you can. Just have a look at our Support Page.

Q: Can I submit content to CGEF?
A: Absolutely! Send any content to one of the webmasters listed in the contacts section. But please, only submit to one of our webmasters at a time. If not sure where to send, take the one who posted the latest news entry on our main page.

Q: Can I use some of CGEFs content on my Futurama site?
A: It depends what you want to use it for. If you just want to use a few things, that is fine (keep the FOX disclaimer), but please do not take mass amounts of CGEF content without emailing Andie . Thanks.

Q: Who is Matt Groening?
A: Matt Groening is the creator of The Simpsons and Futurama. He is also a co-producer on Futurama and does some writing on Futurama. It seems that Matt stopped working on the Simpsons and now only works on Futurama part time.

Q: When does season 6 start in the US?
A: Season 6 will probably never start.

Q: When was the first episode aired in the US?
A: "Space Pilot 3000" aired in the US on 03/28/99

Q: Why does Futurama get pre-empted so much?
A: Because Futurama has such a lame time slot (7PM pacific) and always get killed by baseball and football.

Q: Can I send an email or letter to Futurama or Bongo comics?
A: You sure can! Here is the info for Futurama and Bongo comics:

Q: Are there going to be any Futurama books made?
A: Yes, there most likely will! But at this time, there are no serious plans.

Q: Is Futurama really cancelled?!
A: While FOX never said it cancelled the show, they did stop ordering new episodes. The production crew thus broke up. There is a slight chance that FOX might ask David X. Cohen to build up a new team for another season. The episodes shown this fall all were meant to be aired last year but never did due to various pre-emptions. So they aren't really new.

Q: But I got email by FOX and they say it's all false rumours!
A: Things we reported have been confirmed time and again by Groening and co. Please read this on how to interprete the email FOX wrote to you.

Q: What's the song at the end of "Leela's Homeworld"?
A: "Baby Love Child" on the album "Made in USA" by "Pizzicato 5".

Q: I keep seeing these 3ACV10 kind of things .. What's that?
A: These are abbriviations for specific episodes. The first number tells for which production run the episode was made. The 'ACV' part has no real meaning but is uniquely assigned to Futurama by FOX. The numbers after that denote the number of the episode within the production run. Eg, 3ACV10 is the 10th Futurama episode in production run 3. If you need to know the code of an episode, have a look at our Futurama Episode Guide.

Q: Do you know the full names of the characters?
A: Not of all, but here are some: Philip J Fry, Turanga Leela, John Zoidberg, Bender Bending Rodriguez / Bending Unit 22, Hubert J. Farnsworth, Amy Wong, Hermes Conrad and Kif Kroker.

Q: Is Futurama released on DVD or Video yet?
A: Yes. Futurama Season 1 (13 episodes) and Season 2 (19 episodes) have been released on both VHS and DVD, but neither is sold in the USA. There are PAL region 2 DVD releases for the UK, Germany (Including English and Spanish sound), France and Italy. The UK versions work in Australia and New Zealand, too. Currently, no date for a US release is scheduled. Read our in depth Futurama Season 1 DVD Review and Futurama Season 2 DVD Review.
Region 4 (New Zealand, Australia) for now only has Season 1 discs.

Q: I have a question that you didn’t answer!
