Another fairly average episode, this one introducing Mom. I wanted to like her, I really did. She's not bad. But they made the mistake of billing her as this show's Monty Burns. Not even close.

This one had some of the more enjoyable Zoidberg moments. It was also fun to see Fry spend his enormous fortune on profoundly stupid things.

The first epidode I gve less than 5 points to. The Zoidberg moments were funny, Mom was hilarious, but the fact that Fry lost everything makes it a little sad, especially as he could have crumbled Mom's oil empire, had he but known.

Not the best character introduction in the world, Mom could have been given better lines, but her personality is all there.

What a great episode, truly one of the classic ones. Fry is so friggin hilarious in this one, as is Bender. Great introduction to Mom and her three stooges.

This episode deserves a five just for Fry's reaction to learning he's a billionaire - every time I watch that I just die laughing.

Although this episode had it's moments, it just wasn't up to the standards of most Futurama episodes. It started out so great too, but as soon as the whole anchovie thing came in, it just went downhill from there. Mom and her sons just aren't really funny. More of Bender's rich antics would have given this episode a 4/5 though, they were just hillarious.

Bender is great as usual, but I think Fry is made just a bit too stupid in this episode. He looses all his money in the incredible poor stunt by mom's 3 sons and doesn't even get anything for the fish. Fry became a bit too much of a looser, with mom getting away with 4.3 billion, as if she didn't have enough. Bad ending, but good that Fry came back to his senses

Maybe doesn't deserve quite a top rating,but color me biased.I like all the pop culture references,and I loved Fry sitting in a dark room in his underwear squinting at a re-run of a '70s sitcom,with garbage strewn around the room.Brother,I imagine most of us have been there!The thing I really like,though,is the genuine emotion brought out by Fry wanting his friends to share in his favorite thing in the world (and in true Futurama fashion,Zoidberg crashes the party).

This touching,natural rather than forced,emotion really makes the best of the first couple of seasons stand out,in stark contrast to some of the episodes the last couple of seasons.

Oh,and Bender's 'Fry's so rich,I had to wear a monacle' joke is one of my favorites from the entire run of the show.

Wow, what a beginning, that really made me think. I liked this episode better than the last one. I laughed and learned something about Zoidberg's race and I got introduced to Mom. I always like how they expand the episode and they did it with this one, Fry has a dream with an addvertisment in it, after talking about it they go shopping, Bender gets arrested and they have to pay the fine, Fry goes to his old bank to get more money out of his account and finds out he has 4.3 million dollars, he uses it to by apartment and decorate it in 1999 style he also uses the money to buy anchovies,ect. so like the is great. Nice jokes too! -thanks Matt for brining Futurama to tv-

The humor wasn't oo good, but what pained me most about this episode was its simplistic writing. They chose the absolute worst way that Fry could lose the money and crammed in in here. Fry's reaction is very unrealistic as well.

The episode was good. It isn't better than the "Mother's Day" episode.

My funniest moments has got to be when Larry says to Fry "That's a good boy" and when Walt says to Fry "Mr. Fry, it's those three plumbers you called for." and then Larry replies "We're here to tighten your drain."

Them make me laugh.

I also like when Walt said "My god! This Mr. Fry must be the mastermind of the highest order." and when Ignar said "Thanks a billion" and then Larry said "Like 4.3 billion" and then Walt slaps them both.

The thing I didn't like seeing on this episode was when Walt slapped Larry the first time and when he looked really cross.

The scariest and weird thing most on this episode was when Walt wears a black moustache and smiles evily when Fry says "You are. Did you grow a moustache last night."

That quote is funny and then Walt replied "No."

Did you all notice the milk can next to the Professor near the end?

'A Fishful of Dollars' starts out very well - the set up, the jokes all make for a very good episode but it's let down in the second half when the humour dries up and the episode slows down. Good start, average finish - overall good.

I don't like seeing Fry being a stupid, selfish jerk (which is unfortunately true of him in a number of early episodes), so this one loses points for that. However, Mom's introduction is hilarious (her going to "some charity BS for knocked-up teenage sluts" always makes me laugh), and I do like the *concept* behind the episode. So, yeah, it's average.
