This episode is generally regarded as a poor episode & true, it's not one of the best but it's damn good.

I love the references to the year 2000, at the beginning being toatlly wrong, for example cavemen robots in the car factory which is cool & The Crushinator makes another appearance in this episode. The stoyline is good & it's a really funny episode.

Although I rated the episode with 4, I think it deserves a 3.5... I really enjoyed the first half of the episode: the 20th century depictions were hilarious, as well as other snippets ("Does modern life make you tense and nervous??" - "Shut up and get to the point!"); the usual stuff that marks Futurama's style and makes fans of us all.
However, the plotline was severely gapped (the writers totally failed when they tried to make that who-dunnit twist at the ending) because there was too many misleading clues and a total lack of coherence in the character's actions (Flexo acts like he's guilty all the time, towards the end of the episode).
Flexo was good, although a little TOO similar to Bender (which figures, since they are "related") but I think he had a lot more potential ("You'd better do something about that face. AHAHAHAHAH!! Nah, really, you're a wonderful man.") and I wish he'd show up in a different context. One thing I DID enjoy was the fact that the episode didn't fall into the routine-soap-opera-drama jealousy when Flexo started hanging out with Bender and teased Fry all the time. If it all bogged down into a typical "my friend doesn't pay any attention to me any more" I would get really pissed - saturday afternoon shows are already filled with that kind of crap. At least, even if not at all successful, the episode's writer tried to do something different. But instead of turning it into a Sherlock-Holmes-type episode, it turned into a messy plot. At least Bender was the guilty one.;D

This episode was good, not great, but good.
I found Flexo very annoying for some reason.
I loved the bits with Farnsworth and the Atom "Everyone get in bed with me"
And Zapp trying to open the envolope, but where was Kif?

Uh, OK. THIs episode sucked. This was positvely the worst episode, not just of futurama, but of any television show ever. It's because of this episode I'm not that unhappy that the show is getting cancelled.

Not the best episode, but surely it is one I still can remember fondly! The animation was good as usual, the jokes were dead on and Flexo was a nice character addition. It's a shame this epsiode is rated lowly as it really is a nice addition to a great Futurama library. I personally loved Bob Barker and the Beauty contest!

One of my favourite futurama episodes the advert's for the theme park are absolutley hilarious "Time for the mammoth hunt dudes'. Fry is on top form for this episode "My girlfriend used to drive one of those cars, actually it wasnt her it was her dads, actually she wasnt my girlfriend she just lived next door and never closed the curtains". And quite possible the greatest ever fry line
Fry: "Oh yeah I just made out with the radiator women from the radiator planet"
Leela: "Fry that is a radiator"
Fry: "(ahem) Is there a burns ward within ten feet of here" Absolute genius !

Hilarious. Flexo was funny, I'm glad he's in future episodes. Cop Department was a good spoof of COPS.

#7 is right, there were a few things that didn't quite make sense and were only in there to make us suspect Flexo (like when Bender said "especially me... Bender."). But in retrospect, those weird things were also funny.

This was a very funny episode, it deserves a higher percentage (and more 5's).

I thought this episode was fantastic from start to finish.
The ingenious only seemed to stop for take short breathers.

The cheesy attempt to make it look like Flexo was pretending to be Bender only this episode even more memorable to me.

A good episode with some good lines. It was clever the way it was misleading, with Bender covering his chin. Zapp's song was funny, if not slightly annoying.

One thing that was proof in this episode is that there is someone out there like Bender. Kind of makes u concerned. But toward the end we saw flexo having a little difference then Bender. But what I most liked about the episode is in the beginning is when they visit PASTORAMA, What New New York was like in the 20th Century.

Remember the first Treehouse of Horror on The Simpsons? In the segment entitled "Hungry Are the Damned", it's a similar situation. If you know the ending, the actions of Kang, Kodos, and Serak the Preparer make no sense. Same with Bender and Flexo here. Why is Bender acting so suspiciously? Because it's transparent and funny. Some really great moments in this episode, but it's missing that little extra something that would warrant a 5.

Flexo's and Bender's serialnumbers are supposed to be the sum of two cubes. In Flexo's case (3370318) this is true: 119^3+119^3=3370318, but in the case of Bender (2716057), it does not compute. If anyone has any objections, comments or solutions, pls write me. I wrote a Java program to test every combination of n^3+m^3 between 0 and 150 since 150^3>2800000.

great episode. flexo is great and it was good story overall. i especially like when the professor shows them the atom thing.

the stuff at the beginning was classic, the way the museum got everything wrong. it reminded me of how archeologists these days will find any random object and say that it's a religious symbol.

the rest of the episode wasn't as good though. zapp might have saved it, but he didn't.

I mostly like this episode for the philosophical question posed at the end by Fry, roughly paraphrased: "How can I live my life if I can't tell good from evil?" And just the way he said it, the look on his face when he did--great stuff. Bender came back with a funny quip, but I don't recollect it.

i like futurama so i normally give high marks but this episode just didnt do it for me. I didn't like the story line that much but there were some good bits, like how Bender kept on wearing clothes that cover his chin *if bender has a chin*

This episode isn't among the best futurama episodes but it deserves five nevertheless. Pastorama is a classic bit as well as investigating the theft. The final part during the competition is quite weak but everything before it make up for it. I'm giving this 5 but it's more like a 4.6.

I kind of hate this episode. Flexo's introduction is pointless, Fry is irritating throughout the entire episode, and there aren't too many funny moments. Past-O-Rama is one of the better act one set pieces the show's every used, and it's easily the best part about this episode--and the only thing that saves it from being almost unwatchable.
