A not bad episode which introduces us to the Robot Mafia with the cool character Clamps. Elzar is in it quite a bit too. This episode isn't a classic but it's very good & I hope to see more of the Robot Mafia in the future.

Classic Futurama, one of the best episodes of the whole series. Cool characters, Bender at peak form ("hum... I like this guy's lack of style") and cool mafia characters. ("we got'em heavily outclamped. they won't know what clamped'em!")Not to mention great one-liners, and another interesting example of Bender's moral "ambiguity".:)
Excellent in all departments. And Leela really is cute with an eye-patch!;)

This is the best robot related episode.
"We run a private lottery".
"It�s just ones and zeros mostly"
It is so stupid but yet so damn funny. Altough its not so funny now as it was ehwn I first saw it but when I did I died of laughter.
Benders king accent in the end is so good I can�t find words to describe it... Yes I can but they are inferior to the laughter factor of the joke. So never mind.

A very good episode. Great lines...specially Benders King accent. "Water Crest sandwitch" and "Wait old.....Spice" were really funny!!
Tinny Tim was funny too.
Have more episodes with the King Accent!

Best portrayal of bender beyond the xmas 'what i diddn't do nothing, it was er, the kid!' speech.

Got some of the best lines as well:
*Klik klik... Sha-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta!*
'Let that be a lesson to you!'
'Thankyou donbot' (or whatever that fat one was called.)

and
'We're the robot mafia... The entire robot mafia.'

or
'Hey Blotto, wind down the window, start shootin'

Lot's of funny characters, many great one-liners and gags (Zoidbergs "Oh god, i'm coming down!" may be the funniest Futurama-line ever), all in all a very funny episode, but it lacks depth. There was quite the opportunity to delve deeper into Benders morale, such as in "Hell is Other Robots"; but it just felt bleak, sort of like "Bender Should Not Be Allowed on TV".

Very funny, but not great. Still deserves a weak 4 though.

The episode was memorable for introducing new characters, like the Robot Mafia, but the plot was a bit of a throwaway, still they made good use of it (with the always weird cop team of the human and his jive-talking robot).

One more thing: how in the world did Hermes' remark at Elzar's get by the censors?
"Is there any meat this man can't jerk?"

Bender, like Homer Simpson, is much funnier when pushed into the background than taking the stage. This episode was decent, but the funnier moments came from characters other than Bender, such as Fry's method of turning the ship while firing the guns. The plot skipped several beats and was pretty inconclusive, so - C

My favourite episode to feature Bender in the starring role. It's refreshing for a show of this nature to let a character get away with doing morally terrible things without any sort of comedic moral at the end.
It's an interesting plot, being mafia-based and all, and the humour is top-notch.

One of the more forgettable episodes of the series for me. It's not bad, but I don't really care for the Robot Mafia *or* most Bender-centric episodes. The first act is pretty great, though, so the episode earns some points there.

Hard to see for me how this one is so unpopular. I mean, it's a free world and all, but to me, this is the best Futurama episode - EVER. No kidding. The story is great, the pacing is perfect and there are sooo many funny moments. Zoidberg is at his absolute best (him being angry at the doctor, "please don't hit me!", "listen to the smart robit" or hermes to zoidberg after leela destroys the planet expres roof: "that's coming out of your pay!"). The professor has an outstanding moment: "Professor, where were you last night?" "Where am I now?" Plus, I really like the whole Bender joining the mafia story. I also love the robot mafia - above all, Clamps. Then there's Elzar, who's always great.. and I could go on and on...
