Amy, Leela, Zapp, and Kiff are stranded on a planet of Amazons following a disastrous double date. Bender and Fry's rescue attempt ends with all the male crew members in shackles.

My second-most favorite episode. Non-stop laughs and general zaniness. I can't think of a scene that didn't make me laugh. Highlights include:

Now that's what I call an episode, I'll definately rank this in top-5. But then again every episode involving Kif (and to an lesser extent the Zapper) is an instant classic in my book. The ping-pong action and dialog between theese two is just phenomenal. The Zapper as the self-appointed fatherfigure for some of his more pathetic men and Kif as the Zapper-loathing, involuntarily victim of the Zapper's fatherfiguring (is that a word? I think not, but there it is.).
The Zapper, while always a hoot to watch was in his best form ever in this episode. The whole date-negotiation, and the result is totally in character for the Zapper. He had his date and somehow keeps on going and end up with half-a-date. LOL. The karaoke, again LOL, but don't ever again let him sing on public TV ;) , think about the children. His book of pickuolines, his behaviour on Amazonia and during the "execution", it all was hillarious, and there was much more.
But the Zapper wasn't the main treat of this episode, it was the parring of Amy and Kif which really made me love it. I like Kif, very much. Kif's just such a genuinly nice guy, and he has been cursed with the Zapper as his CO, so it was a thrill to see him finally find some happiness. But the thorny way he had to walk to get there was just wonderfull. His shynes, following the Zapper's advice, the punishment on Amazonia and finally the rescue by Amy (after declaring his love to her). Awwww, how cute :cry:.
Amy. I had some big reservations about her when I saw the first few episodes of Futurama. I changed my mind considerably about her after seeing this episode. It shows that she is more than JUST a party slut. She has feelings for Kif, even before he admits to her that he loves her. She recues Kif in the end, good job. She's already my #2 fave female character.
Leela, was her usually charming, sexy, acturian kung-fu fighting, no-nonsense, caring, friendly self. Her loathing for the Zapper was as always hillarious, as was seeing her wear her FAO uniform on a date.
The rest was good, if forgettable. Zoidy's little sidestory was, as always, very amusing. Bender saves the day (and bags a bodyfull of gold), good.
The plot. I like the story. nice good flow, good characters, good pairings and the Kif/Amy relationship. Just loooove it. The oneliners was among the series best, Zapper and Kif delivering the most.
Short commets: Love the basketball-joke, Fry flying the ship, the snuh-snuh, the karaoke, the Fry/Bender/Zapper remarks while being prisoner (boy, talk about malestereotyping :D ). Oh have I m�ntioned I like the Kif/Zapper "banter".
So to sum up. This is a sure 5. The second-best episode so far in the serie (tie with X-mas story). If I could I'd give it 10.

I'm usually not the only one who has the same opinion about an episode, but it looks like I'll be the outcast today ;) I didn't like Amazon Women in the Mood, because I thought a lot of the jokes were cheap and kind of immature.
I DID laugh hysterically when Fry and Bender were spinning out of control, trying to operate the PE ship!

A truly *classic* episode which gives plenty of screen time to Amy and Kif. The visuals on Amazonia were good and it's got a simple yet great ending. I love it when the males or sentanced to death by snu snu and kif gets really anxious then Zap asks if hes gay. Great episode overall, one of the best.

Oh yeah, that was awesome. The best episode of season 3 in my eyes. The guests escaping from zap�s karaoke, the skeletons with the crushed pelvises, kif crawling on the cave�s ceiling, this ep. has lots of great jokes made me laugh till my guts hurt.

I just saw this episode and it was brilliant! I was crying with laughter by the end of it.
My favourite parts were:
1: Amy and Bender yelling at each other in Chinese.
2: Fry:"Ok, here's the plan!" {weird noises are heard} Bender:"What kind of moronic plan is that?"
3: Zapp and Fry's expresions when they were sentenced to death by snoo-snoo, changing from happy to scared about 10 times.
4: Morbo singing.

Funny funny stuff. Not the best, but still commendable. Nice to see the Amy/Kif plot developing. More to the point you can't go far wrong in an episode with Zapp and Kif in it.

Great episode. I was laughing all the way through. The Amy/Kif thing got a little too sappy at times, but it was nice. Zapp was funny as usual. Hearing "Total Eclipse of the Heart" was weird. They still have that in the year 3000? This was a very funny episode, the best they've had in a while.

This episode is the funniest episode of any television show ever. How can you not laugh laugh at memoreable quips like "Oh I'm sorry, you're crying like a woman", and "The body is willing but the flesh is spongy and bruised." Fantasttic stuff. The Zapper is definitely one of the best characters in the show, and it's a pity he doesn't appear more often.
Definitely a "guy" episode if ever there was one.

Ever since I first saw this episode, I have always referred to sex as "Snu Snu".
This is my absolute favorite episode. It's one of those instances where it's a chain reaction of laughs for 22 minutes and you almost wish there was a "to be continued" at the end of the episode.
The Amazons are great, the scene where Fry, Kiff and Zapp are sentenced is a riot and Bender as always is such a dickweed!

This is my favorite episode to watch over and over again.
There's literally non-stop jokes and never a dull moment. It's just hilarious!
My favorite scenes in order:
- The look on the Professor's face when Zoidberg's shower towel falls off of him when he's walking away with his discarded shell.
- Leela: "Men who call too much are the worst... I bet."
- Zapp stopping by Kif's room and saying, "Kif, I'm headed to the men's room and I'll be needing an attendant... oh, I'm sorry, you're crying, like a woman."
- Zapp laughing at Kif when he says he's in love with a girl. "That's rich."
- Zapp bargaining for 10 dates, 9, 7, then 8. "Five, and that's my final offer. Four!"
- Zapp's Pick-up line book. "Say as many of them as you can as fast as you can. Don't stop for any reason."
- "I find the most erotic part of a woman is the boobies."
- When Zapp is singing, the chef comes out, points his finger at him, and says, "He sickens me."
- Bender stating that he's Mexican, and find's Zoidberg's costume offense. Then his chest cover falls off.

I can't understand why this is rated so high. This was one of the worst episodes. A few cheap sex jokes that were kind of funny, but the whole concept was ridiculous (not ridiculous in a funny way, but in a "can't they think of anything better" way). A few funny moments, but probably the most juvenile episode of Futurama.

This was the first Futurama I ever saw, but since I saw it at a young age, I didn't know much about. Fast-forward 3 or 4 years, I see it again, and I remember it, and I am glad I remember it. This made my Top 3 of favorite Futurama episodes.

I thought the storyline was very well done, and it deserved its Emmy Nomination. It may have deserved to win as well (but it didn't).
I am a big fan of music (especially of 80's music) and it was funny to see Kiff sing that song "Total Eclipse of the Heart".

this bothered me alot. Particularly that despite Zap and Fry were making jokes and slightly optimistic about constant sex, Kip was litterally getting raped. Other then that horribly sick part I found the episode offensive to both men and women and the jokes were all stale and lame. One of the worst episodes I have seen comedicly, and simply for the rape, I wouldn't watch it again.

Wow, I cant believe people didnt laugh at this episode, I was on the floor. It started a bit slow but as soon as I saw Bender screaming in the background as Fry was flying the ship, it was non stop laughs all the way from there. A true classic and the episode I tell my non futurama friends to watch to see if they will like this show.

One has got his arms behind his head, one holding a joint and all of them with the biggest smiles you'd ever see on a skeleton!!! haha.. classic.

i thought this episode was pretty shallow. Fry's comments were frequently out of character just to enhance the pseudo-feminism theme, which was also perverse and not at all up to the normal standards Futurama displays when touching on, or tackling a quite FUNDEMENTAL issue. Leela already exudes an aloof, adolescent attitude to men and so comedy emerges when she rubs shoulders with Zap, without the necessity for all those woman-vs-men jokes on Amazonia. and seriously, they mostly aren't really laugh-out-loud lines which we have all come to expect.
Giant women who simultaneously pander to patriarchal stereotypes and cling pitiably to the extremes of their feminist stand-point, miss out the occasional pronoun and adverb then attempt to ritually sacrifice the men with the oldest joke in the book...maybe it actually is funny, but i don't get it. One plus; Bender's fantastic balls-of-steel machoism soars to new heighs in the female dominated setting and he's got some great lines. But as for the rest, nothing terribly original or memorable. And can you imagine if it was giant men and Amy and Leela tied up, half terrified, half delighted (leela to finally get laid, Amy just rather loose). Don't know if that scenario would have seemed so acceptable, even with Bender and Fembot harmonizing these mighty rival forces at the end. Or maybe i should stop worrying when a cartoon seems two-dimensional.

Wow, my favorite episode. Zap doing a William Shatner imitation when he sings karaoke is hilariously and somehow seems so right. ( since he is a space captain ) The jokes about women are the best in this episode(if you're a guy) especially the women's basketball joke where the amazon women say that they can't dunk but have good fundamentals then Bender laughs. And then when the guys are sentenced to death and their expressions on their faces keep changing from scared to excited. Awesome

"Gifted" episode, if I could give this one an IQ test for comedy intellegence, i would give it a 199! The snu-snu really turned me on and the fact that it was all Zapp's fault for crashing them there made it all the better. Bender's desire of gold makes you think about his character on the show and the fact that when he does that kind of stuff, you just have to say: That's Bender! That's just the way he is!

One of the funniest episodes ever (Bea Arthur as the Femputer may actually be my favorite guest star ever), and yet another awesome appearance by Zapp and Kif. I also like how this episode establishes Amy and Kif's relationship, one of the nicer story arcs on Futurama.
