I wanted to take a nap after seeing this episode because I found it so boring. I was amused at the Professor, however, after being bent.

A pretty solid episode which we see Flexo and the Robot Mafia in again. It has some great jokes and it's interesting to see two robots fighting over another robot as oposed to humans.

Yeah!!! Flexo's back!!! I loved this episode thoroughly, and not just because we get to see Flexo again (although that was the highlight for me). This episode was a little odd, because it hardly featured any of the Planet Express Crew other than Bender, but I found it none-the-less enjoyable. The protest chant of the bending robots was really slick, and I was really moved by Bender's decision to help Flexo for no reason other than it will make Angle-ina happy. Nice touch.

Honestly, why can't bender get any respect? He gets to be an in-your-face cleptomiac robot, and all he gets out of it are crap reviews for his episodes. Lighten up, people.

"OK, that's the neccissary ammount of times"

"maybe I just love you so much I love you no matter who you pretend to be"
"Oh, how I wish I could believe or understand that!"

"Well, I don't know anything about lifting."

"who could do that? And by that I mean this." *Bends L-unit repeatedly*

"My slinky!"

*Bender shoves Flexo*
"Thanks I appreciate that, Hahaha, no, I'm joshin' ya. That was quite annoying"

I love this ep.

Well, there are lots of mixed views about this one! So i suppose I'm going to have to side with the 'this is a great episode' side.

Episode good points:

Flexo

Robot Mafia

Benders ploy to find out Angeline's feelings for Flexo. That distorted logic had me in stitches.

Bad points:

Abrupt departure of Robot Mafia.

Best lines:

(Zoidburg cuddles 'repaired' slinky)
Zoidburg:'There little fellow! Good as new!'
(Pushes slinky down bokk staircase whereupon it flops over and bursts into flame.)

Amy:'You remember your own birth?'
Bender:'Yeah, it was only four years ago.'
Fry:'Your only four years old?'
Bender:'Yup! Precocious little scamp aint i?'
(Bender draws a deep breath on cigar.)

(Bender bends unbendable girder off Flexo's head.)
Flexo:'Thanks buddy, another year under that and i'd have been a gonner.'

I don't quite understand why people have given this episode ratings of 1 and 2 with stuff like that.
Or maybe my humour unit is playing up again...

The whole Bender/Anglelyne thing wasn't very funny, except when Bender pretended to be Flexo. The professor's sub-plot was funny, especially when he ranted about happiness and stuff. I would have liked seeing more of the other crew members.

This episode deserves a 4.5 but I'll round it up because we saw Flexo and the robot mafia again and there were some good parts.

How the fug wankles is this episode rated at a 69%? This is one incredibly funny episode, Zoidberg's slinky, Professor's new outlook on life, return of the Robot Mafia AND Flexo! And Bender does actually show emotion.

Great episode.

#53 by The Purpletraitor
I suspect a lot of the slagging off of this episode is down to the plot. Let's face it, Bender falling in a love with a fembot is not a trip to a new planet or a battle to save the world: it's another one of those 'down-to-earth' character stories, which a lot of people seem to hate. Lighten up people! Stories like this give the characters more depth. If you want a joke a second, watch The Simpsons.

Besides, this episode certainly wasn't devoid in comedy, as the Professor's bending showed. The part where Bender jammed the wheel with a stick, violently hurling them into a pond was hillarious, as was the Professor's general dialogue in the ep, including the overlooked scene where he brags about his new relationship:
"Some say I'm robbing the cradle, but I say she's robbing the grave!"
And let's not forget Zoidberg and his "cuddly pet slinky!" Can anyone honestly say they knew his slinky was gonna burst into flames?

As for the main plot, I agree, it's not hillarious but I still found it pretty engaging, especially the way Bender thought he was being really clever pretending to be Flexo (notice on the phone that he actually says "This is Flexo!" in a different voice. XD) and ended up just confusing himself in the end. And it didn't end on a particularly sappy note either ("So Angeline and Flexo had sex right there on the factory floor?") so it wasn't exactly a soppy love story.

As I said before, maybe it's not exactly packed to the gills with jokes, but it's a nice little story nonetheless and certainly should be bending more towards the higher percentages than it is!

*The Professor after getting bent.

This episode was not one of the best, but it did have a lot of funny lines and it deserves a bit more than a 70%. So I'm giving it a 5 to bring it up a bit.

I am a Bender fanatik, so anything with Bender feeling love makes me smile. I thought this eppisode was cute beacuse Bender is rarely in that deep of love.

I really enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. The robot mafia's appearance was much better here than in "Bender Gets Made", not to mention Flexo was in better form than he was in "Lesser of Two Evils".

Not one of the greatest - but again Farnsworth saves it

Dear Lord, we've got robots on the ceiling!

Oh dear. 'Bendless Love' has very little momentum or unique ideas. The best parts are the bits with the robot mafia. It's not overally bad, but it isn't particularly good. I'd give it two-and-a-half out of five if I could, but...

As a big fan of myself, I feel a form of privellege and enlightenment that I can foresee this cultured and aesthetically ferocious piece of artistry. Being Josh Fletcher, I have often been bamboozled at my own creative powers through my pieces on Monet, and occasionaly Willie Basteur. This kind of carnivorosity never ceases to blow my mind.

There are a lot of great jokes, but the plot is quite bland and that lets it down.

Surprised at all the hate for this one. Yes, it lacks most of the other main characters, but this is one of my favorite Bender episodes.

This is a strange episode: forgettable but not out-and-out *bad*. That said, I don't care much for Flexo, and though this one does make me sympathetic to Bender, it's not my favorite episode to prominently feature him.

This is probably my favorite episode. Highlights:

. Jan Hooks as Angeline
. Zoidberg's slinky
. Farnsworth's line "...Talking SQQUARE of linoleum!"
. Farnsworth's scream when he gets bent
. The musical montage halfway through (great song, funny visuals)

I don't understand why people hate this episode. There are a couple that are worse. Besides, the Robot Mafia and Farnsworth make this entire episode. They're really funny, and I love them. Clamps!!!!! This one just decided to show Bender in his soft side, that's all. I mean, he can't be a sociopath all the time. And, the thing with the Robot Mafia hating Flexo for flashing his "filthy scab money" is just ,because the mob runs the union. (As said in the episode, when Joey Mousepad shouted, "Yo, the mafia supports you!".) Overall, this episode isn't bad and I love the Robot Mafia parts. Clamps rules!

This was a terrible and forgettable episode. There were no really funny lines, and Angeline falling in love with Flex-O for real was incredibly predictable. Plus, I haven't seen one good episode with the Robot Mafia, ever.
