First the bad things:
* I sort of missed a well done secondary plott.
* I didn't see many movie references
Then the good thing: It was quite good still :P I liked how Gore wasn't artificially pushed into the center of the episode. Nixon was just great again, too.

Some good lines went with it and the old movie on global warming was brilliant ("Well Susie, the culprit isn't foreigners." "ONCE AND FOR ALL!" )

Also, the scenes with the masses of robots looked really nice and like lots of work

Full of genuine laughs, no gut-busters though. Maybe one or two jokes that really didn't get off the ground.

Almost every semi-major character was in this one, they really tried to throw everyone in it. A great tribute to all the robots of the show. Modern-American figureheads in jars of liquids are making too many appearances, I was hoping to see a cutback on that this season. Oh well, great episode.

4/5, 8/10

Good episode really. I loved the way they included all the old robots.
They had a good plot with enough sound jokes to keep it going nicely, such as the film. The turtle was just cute.
Not an oustandingly great episode, but stands out a bit from other episodes.
Rated a 4/5 in the end.

Really great episode, with nice back information about Farnsworth and Mom's history together...! The robots were great, especially the return of the Krushinator.

Fry was hilarious as always....great animation..what else do you need?

I liked it, I loved "None Like It Hot!" At the end I was thinking "Wouldn't the year get longer, I bet they don't mention it." And yet they did. I should have known better. Also, there was an article in the NY Times today about the animators, very interesting.

It's good to have Futurama back! Very good ep with tons of, "Oh, he was in *insert ep here*". One of the best scenes that made me laugh out loud was Roberto stabbing the other robot over and over.

However, it wasn't all great. I too missed a second plot and although the plot they had was very funny, I personally didn't think it was good enough to hold an entire ep. The comet bit was "ok", but I personally would have liked to have seen more robot party jokes.

Still, a great ep that made me glad to be a fan.

Futurama, I MISSED YOU!

I have a perpetual smile just from watching a new episode on a big screen.

HA- Sunbeam's getting beaten up by gangsta gasses. Then corpse littering.
+ - Good use of robots.
HA- Guy who exploded needlessly.

- -Reminded me a lot of 'A Big Piece of Garbage'. Something threatening planet, Wornstrum vs. Farnsworth, going onto comet, extreme heat/extreme smell.

Just a little similar.

A very good way to start out the season. Basically everything the episode tried to do was funny, but the problem was that the episode simply didn't try to do much beyond the one main plot, which left Fry, Leela and the rest of the Planet Express crew (minus Farnsworth and Bender) without anything to do.

A great beginning to the last season. It reminded me a lot like the first few seasons of the Simpsons. It had a heart-warming plot that doesn't abruptly end or completly meander off-story for only the sake of jokes.

Cold logical emotionless Bender returns again in a similar situation as in Season4's GodFellas, with a similar Deus Ex Machina ending (heh heh, yea big words!), but fortunately not quite as sappy.

I liked that episode. The global warming movie was great, Nixon was great, the Harry Potter jokes were great, the McDonalds joke was great
etc..
The plot was kind of confused esp. Bender & his turtle. But i got used to this kind of thing since the late 3AVCxx.
The episode was better than I expected and btw
* I didn't see many movie
references
Why does an episode have to have movie references?
And what about: "The Jedi are gonna feel that one?"

One cool episode. How cool was it? Cooler than many other episodes to be sure.

Al Gore lends his voice professionally, and it's great fun that he is attributed "inventor of the environment" ;) The episode is chock full with great lines and small jokes everywhere. We get to meet a lot of robots of past episodes, and Nixon of course! Zoidberg has some *very* Zoidbergish lines. I love the way he says "robots" though :)

I taped futurama, so i saw the simpsons first last night. I was bitterly disappointed with their lousy excuse for an episode, it almost ruined my whole night. But when I watched Futurama, I decided that it had officially surpassed the current Simpsons in quality. I could name off a million reasons why I'd rather see the Simpsons cancelled than Futurama. Futurama turns out quality episode after quality episode, and the simpsons have run out of ideas.

I had to watch last night's episode twice because it was so damn good. I think the funniest parts were:
Everything Zoidberg said
the Professors see-thru shirt
Al Gore's "peace out y'all"
Official Robot Party Week

An all around great episode.

"Whose ready to party with Nixon?"

The use of Nixon is hysterical, I laughed out loud more than once.

I wonder if when Agnew was elected Governor of Maryland he could have had the foggiest idea he would still get mentioned on prime-time TV in the next century.

I'm going to assume that is Al Gore's actual voice - also quite a kick having him polk fun at himself.

I enjoyed the robot building flashback of the Professor and the young, slutty, "Mom" character.

OK headless body of Agnew, Let's blow this pop stand!

Seems like Bender learned something from "Godfellas" after all. It was very sweet to see how devoted he was to the turtle he put in so much effort to rescue, but why didn't the turtle help him in return? Lousy mindless turtle...but...so cute....

A Good but not Great Episode. It had quite a few funny Star Wars jokes. The C3PO-lookalike being crushed was quite funny. I also enjoyed the Gigantic Mirror burning through the Conference Hall in Kyoto.

This happens to be my favorite Futurama episode EVER! For some reason, the "WINDMILLS DON'T WORK THAT WAY!" line really cracked me up, and I couldn't stop laughing for about 35 seconds. Swift-moving, jam-packed and funny, but not without issues; several voices seemed "off" to me (particularly Mom and the Crushinator) and the animation, editing and direction in the final third was really sub-par for some reason, almost as if it was redone at the last minute. The Headless Body of Agnew was a beautiful touch. Oh my God, it's all based on "Gorath!!!" :D

The good: Gore as emporer of the moon. I enjoy it when celbrities can take a good joke. His book that included Harry Potter in the title was funny as well.

Special chuckles when Zoidberg gradually figured out what was going on, but of course everyone else had realized it instantly.

The flashback was great (But I was tired...and in love...) as well as the film (None like it hot).

The bad: Fry had about two lines in this episode, and they were both intentionally bad jokes. Seemed like they just needed something for him to say. I don't like Fry becomming more and more of a 30th century citizen. He's supposed to be our 20th century hero, yeah he's none too bright, but he needs a smudge more intelligence so that he can actually save the day more often.

Great start to the season. I agree with other reviewers who've said they missed a b-plot; many of the best episodes have undercurrents running through them that make for a hearty laugh while the plot develops. Al Gore as "Inventor of the Environment" and "Emperor of the Moon" were great gags too....
It's sad to think it'll end this year; I was forced to watch FOX football and I only counted one MENTION of Futurama in the ads for the primetime lineup, and it was brief...so sad.

Nice episode, I'd give it 3.5, rounded that makes a 4.

Not overly great, but surely not a bad one. The caring Bender was a bit unusual, but funny anyway. May he have at least learned something from being God? :-)

Anyways, I am happy Futurama is back on screen. That is... on screen in the US, because here in Germany, the German translation that us running (whoot... we are already at Roswell That Ends Well) is really not very good. :-)

This episode is plagued with dozens and dozens of intelligent, acid, sarcastic and funny jokes. The script is original and Bender ans his turtle simply rock.

Something was missing but still great entertaining episode including another one of Zoidberg's idiotic behaviour.

Also interesting was that the laser beam goes northwards from south america towards NNY to grill the scientist but suddenly hits Kyoto...??? one for the goofs as the writers must have forgotten how the earth looks like or it has changed so much after 1000 years :)

This was a good episode. But, the chain of events during the first 5 minutes was weird. They watched a movie about how Earth cools down with an icecube to keep their minds' off the heat. Then, they get an assignment to drop an Earth-cooling icecube like the one they saw in the movie they just watched. Seems a little too convenient.

I liked the turtle and Bender's love for the turtle and how the turtle got off its back. Basically, anything with the turtle. The places for the exhaust pipes on the robots was also funny. And Nixon.

This was a good season premier, but it wasn't great.

This was a very average episode of Futurama, but it proved once again that some of the funniest moments are the throw away gags(the wizard and the sapphires). Fry needs more screen time though, and the professor was at times annoying, but otherwise it was a solid episode.

I was a bit behind on seeing this, but after acquiring it Ive seen it twice. Its a good solid episode, nice plot, although nothing exceptional. I enjoyed it a lot, and I loved that first scene where Nibbler burps, and everyone falls down. Its nice to see him back. I loved seeing the robot party with all those robots. They had nearly every robot ever on the show! I didnt see Robot Santa though, but he doesnt live on Earth anyway. It was awesome seeing Roberto again, stabbing another robot. It was cool seeing Beelzebot again too; although its a pity he didnt say anything. Even the robot mail-bot from Bicyclopse was in it. Seeing all those robots animated together was cool.

Another part of the episode I loved and thought was really funny was when Professor Farnsworth was explaining getting the ice of Haileys Comet, and he whooshed his arms around then said "safe". Was it me, or was the Professors voice a bit off? Nixon was great too, and it was cool too see Wernstrum again. There were some parts of this episode I wasnt so keen on though. Futurama seems to be starting to get a few wacky jokes here and there, much like The Simpsons. Of course Futurama hasnt gone down that road yet, and it was a lot more substance, but those kind of cheap jokes are creeping in. Like when Bender received mail, and when he somehow went halfway round the world with no time passing, to get a turtle, and had those clog shoes. And when that mirror burnt that guy, it was so Simpsons esque. The global warming film was a little too similar to something in The Simpsons too, although it was really good, and I cant really complain.

Overall I thought it was an average episode, not outstanding, but had plenty of cool stuff, and was decent, just like Futurama always is.

I thought this was a really great episode! The comedic timing was perfect and I laughed a lot.

Also, I never realized Gore had such a comedic flare in his monotone, deadpan style.

"I have ridden the mighty moon worm!"

This episode also featured numerous hilarious lines such as "ONCE AND FOR ALL!", "There will be no escape...from the fun!", and "WINDMILLS DO NOT WORK THAT WAY!"

Also, the educational movie reel was 100x funnier than the one in "I Dated A Robot"

While 'The Simpsons' languishes in horrible plots and lame comdedy its great to see that Futurama still has genius. If only FOX could see that.

I thought it was a very funny episode especially with Al Gore's featured book about Harry Potter and global warming.

I also thought it was very funny how Proffesor Farnsworth talked about 'how the Jedi's were going to feel this one' because it was a smart way to add in humor from other movies but it was good in the case because it had a lot a relevance to do with the death of robots and all.

The episode could have used a few more parodies and hiliarious moments but it was still very good the way it was.

this episode was pretty funny and had some good sentences in. i especially liked the bulonie part:
" ive got a degree in homeapathic medicine!", " uve got a degree in bulonie!" and the part where morbo shouts at linda :Winmills do not work that way! goodnight!!!"
hilarious.*

Any episode that contains Nixon, Al Gore and Hedonismbot deserves top marks! And just when you thought things couldn't get any better, headless body of Agnew shows up! a near perfect episode.

Best lines:
"You're problably wondering why your ice cream ran away. Well Susie, the culprit isn't foreigners. It's global warming!"
"Who's got what it takes to party with Nixon!?"
"The inventor of the environment and first emperor of the moon: Al Gore!"
"grrrrraaaarrrgghhh!"
"I must go now. To help collect cans on Jupiter. Peace out, y'all!"

This episode wasn't TOO too funny, but it did have its moments. Bender and the turtle were the best parts IMHO.

This is one of the best episodes ever. There are so many awesome parts from Al Gore to Morbo to headless Agnew. But the best part was the wizard. I laughed so hard.

Not the best one of course, but pretty funny. And who cares about Amy. She hardly says anything funny. It's just all like, look at me I'm slutty and ditzy and rich.
