It sure went by alot faster than i would have wanted it to. It was also pretty funny such as the parts when bender was in the back ground yelling and woo-ing about statements the other had made. - Great ep -

I enjoyed this episode more then the last new one, 300 big boys.

some of my favorite parts were when bender was questioning lrrr as to why they were using the nose instead of the "thing near the wallet" also when Lrrr says "..Bang Zoom straight to the third moon of omicron persia 8"

all in all it was a pretty good episode, hopefully the next few will be as good if not better.

Kind of perverted, really strange, wierd plot episode. But with Bender doing those perverted jokes in the background once in a while, thats what made it really funny. But it was just a strange ep. for Futurama. 3 but a bonus +1 cause of bender.

The only bad thing about it was the damn local Tropical Storm Claudette advisorys every five minutes which took up almost the whole screen. But u got to live with that. I hate living by the coast.

<Snicker> <Guffaw> <Eagghahah!!!> All sound effects produced in my living room within the first 5 minutes.

Zoidberg and Hermes are their usual strange one-liner 'selves, and I think Amy's one line might have been a scream, but overall, there were enough jokes, and enough fan-pleasers to make this a good episode in my book. The opening with Billy and John going nuts with improvised Bebop music, and the hidden jokes all point to the team of creators who've realized that only the fans still watch, and want to give them a fine ending.

I gave it a 5, because although it might not hit the season 2 and 3 highs, at least the show's dying with grace.

Overall, this was the second best episode this season in my opinion (sting=best). I enjoyed the theme song remix and there were a ton of good jokes. The UFO abduction was among the finest animation I've seen, not to mention very inspired. I liked all the new aliens, like the homage to the standard grey alien and the chameleon guy. I hope this one gets a higher user rating, because despite the bizarre premise, I don't see how in sega genesis anyone could not enjoy this twisted episode.

Funniest episode EVER! This episode easily makes my top 5 all-time favorite episodes list. Hillarious from start to finish, including the opening and closing credits. This one was really an episode for the fans; I just love that caption saying "Thanks for watching Futurama, slave army!" in AL1. They were talking to US! Only the true fans can read/decode AL1.
This is also one of the filthiest (if not THE filthiest) episode ever. I honestly don't know how it got past the censors. And yet, it wasn't the slightest bit tasteless. Everything was masterfully done.

People seem to have liked this episode so far which is surprising to me. I, who usually like most futurama episodes even the ones other people don't, thought this one was not so good. It seemed rushed and stupid for the most part though there were a few good jokes in it such as bender, the bigfot movie, and the screen saver tube. Overall IMO not a very good episode

The first part of the episode was definitely the strongest. By now we know the characters so well that when Hermes, holding toilet paper, announces that he's going to do his business behind a tree, we know that he means it literally, but it's still some funny stuff. The double entendres with Bender were always good, and I think they could have even done more of them. And bonus points for Fry's response to Ranger Park, the Park Ranger.

The plot was pretty good, but the foreshadowing for the conclusion (Lrrr having a soft spot for dumb animals AND bigfoot...you do the math) was kind of beat into you. And it sucked how the rest of the crew disappeared after the first act. Still, some really great moments.

I thought that, especially after this long wait between new episodes, that it was great. Lurr being involved in the story so much was great, cuz we probably won't see much of him in the last few episodes. Plus there were some great lines, none of which I can recall right now.

Not deep a la The Why of Fry or Jurassic Bark, but a great story and everything else that makes Futurama so overwhelmingly good.

Good stuff: Bigfoot video; Leela's comment about the Fat Camp; Zoidberg telling Fry the bad noise; the news report about missing human horns; and the Green alien porno dealer. Bad stuff: the dinner and Leela's singing. Basically the third segment wasn't all that great. However, a huge improvement over the previous episode.

I would have given it a 4 because it's not as good as The Sting, but then again, I think it wasn't as good as Parabox or Big Boys... so I give it a 3. Maybe you should increase the points-range from 1 to 10...

OK, about the episode. It was a bit of a strange one, actually. There were no 'boring' moments, but somehow I didn't feel satisfied as I usually do after watching other episodes. Bender's "whooo-hoooo" thing was very funny! I like those loooooow-humour moments, that are so low that they become funny again. Absurd humor really gets me ROFLing. I didn't like the whole bigfoot-thing though. That was absurd, but not funny. It was just unneeded in my opinion. But then again, I don't write the show, I would do much much worse without a doubt, not everyone finds the same things funny.

And a final small thingie. The intro was bizar, memorable. And the closing sequence was great! "It turns out it's man"... LOL, I expected that to happen, but the way they brought it was top-notch. OK, now I'm gonna write some stuff for the capsule.

Good episode. I need to be sure to keep a close eye on both of my horns from now on. Bender's little quips from off screen were hilarious. My favorite part of the episode was Fry lost in the woods, not sure what was happening, then saying, nonchalantly, "Oh, it's just a UFO..."

I didn't think it was that great. I really like all futurama episodes, even this one, but I think if I made a list it would be in the bottom 10. I need to rewatch it, maybe next time I will like it a little more. I opening theme song was pretty cool, I like the original better, but its nice to have a change once in awhile. Even though the shows over, so this ep, mars university, and BSNBAOT will be the only ones with a remixed theme.

Hoping that the rest of the episodes will be 5/5 for me, but this one just wasn't.

I didn't think it would be very good, but it was! I loved all of Bender's innuendos and "Wooo!"s. They were the best part of the episode. It was pretty good, I suppose. My main gripes are that there were too many sex jokes (something that plagues The Simpsons nowadays as well) and not enough...well, OTHER jokes. Bender's one-liners were great, but what was with Zoidberg's "Care to join Hermes and myself for some (finger quotes) 'just-friends' spooning?" Are they insinuating something...? Cause that's just...no.

Fry looked weird without a nose, I liked that! And Farnsworth's response to it ("MAAAAN, are you ugly!" ). But overall, the episode felt a little disjointed and empty overall. Outside of Bender's "lower horn" zings, the laughs pretty much ended once Lrrr and Ndnd went on their date (it's odd, because normally I find Lrrr hilarious)...also, their sex scene in the end was kinda overdone as well. Sorry guys, but there've been better this season IMO. Not bad, but a little below average.

Not a great episode, but a really good one. I started to get tired of the Bender self abuse jokes, but then, in a relentless way, they became funny again. Lots of good laughs, and any Futurama with the Omicronians in it is usually a keeper. Not a strong as The Farnsworth Paradox or The Sting, but it contiues the strong movement to the series finale.

A few questions: How did they get Katie Segal to sing so badly, How did they get Billy West to talk like that for so long (all right, he is great, but it must have been dificult), why does Fox cut off the endings, and Why was Leela so keen in preserving Fry's lower horn? ;)

Definitly a strong, if not great, episode.

Hm, this one's a toughy to rate. The first two acts were really, really funny. I had a good time watching it. But, for whatever reason, the third act felt very weak. It's hard to explain what about it makes it so weak, but it definently has to do with the basic story structure. Also, I didn't like the bit at the end with the abominal snowman. But then again, as said, the first parts of the episode were a lot of fun.

Bender hooked me on Futurama and continues to provide me with the most laughs. His one liners were great, if sometimes painfully predictable (you knew what was coming); and the way he unwittingly endangers Fry's "doodle" by tipping off the aliens that they're harvesting the wrong horn...classic Bender. Leela's bad rendition of my least favorite song (it takes discipline to sing that bad on purpose), Hermes "business" joke, the Omicronians' marrital problems, were all funny. I gave 4 points because I think it fell just a little bit short (that's what she said...woooohooo!); either more surprise or deeper emotional content would have brought it up to a 5 for me. And Fox just pisses me off...apparently we didn't see some funny stuff at the end, to make room for more commercials and promos for their latest lame shows.

10 out of 5!!!!

It all comes down to how funny you find penis jokes to be.

Well - I find them juvenile, offensive, tacky, brainless - and hilarious when done right, and the writers were in the zone for Spanish Fry. I'm sorry, but when that set of rings popped out of the "dehorning device", then the spikes, then the thrusting saw - I lost it, missing the next lines of dialog.

So, penis jokes + Lrrr (one of my favorite recurring characters) + a general insanity that has been missing a little lately = pure Futurama magic. The executives at FOX are certifiably insane.

Anyone who picks at the nit or two in the episode (yes, I expected a little more from Bigfoot too) needs to apply for a new sense of humor.

I was very disappointed with this episode. The premise sounded so promising, but they just weren't able to follow through with it. It's difficult for me to admit this being such a huge fan of the show.

I guess my expectations have been raised knowing these are the final episodes of the show. I even watched it a second time before going to bed to see if my opinion would change. I just couldn't find anything to redeem the episode, like Fry's coffee scene in 300 Big Boys.

The few things I did like in the episode: alien porno, big foot movie and Leela singing Whitney Houston.

Otherwise, a very forgettable episode IMO. I expect more from this show.

This was the FUNNIEST episode of Futurama, its makes me really mad to know that we will no longer be seeing the show because the Fox corporation are BASTARDS and they cancel excellent shows to bring out more shows about disgruntled families and 'Married With Children' knock-offs. Anyway this episode is an excellent reminder as to why I love Futurama.

Bender was hilarious. nuff said. Also new beginning was kinda cool. Was that John Dimaggio (voice of bender)? It sure sounded like him. Also, what was the thing at the end that gotfuturama was talking about? Oh well. "One of these days, BANG! ZOOM! Straight to the third moon of Omicron Persei 8!"

This was an OK episode, but after watching season 1, the episode seemed even more worse. I loved the second horn, and Bender's remarks made it seem like it was a bad 1980s sex show, or an episode of Jerry Springer.

This gets a 10 or a 5 based on the scale, for a few reasons:

1: Gotta love those wacky aliens back for another episode.

2: Bender and all the jokes he makes out of sight about Fry's "lower horn"

3: The BRIFE butt shot of the nude Amy getting into the tent!!!(that alone was worth it)

4: Morbo and all his witty humor

A rather mediocre episode. It wasn't a terrible mess like "Three Hundred Big Boys", although it was by no means all that great either. In fact I'd have to say it was even a notch or two below average, dipping into the "bad episode" end of the scale.

Almost no redeeming humour, too many immature sexual jokes (like Simpsons these days) and just an uninteresting story/plot that goes nowhere.

I wonder if FOX didn't save these mediocre episodes for the end to just and justify Futurama being cancelled?

What the hell was **THAT**?

After a string of good-to-brilliant eps with some beautiful character interaction we get this mean-spirited train wreck, which seems to have been co-written by Guenther the Fox monkey and the Rat from "A Bicyclops Built For Two". Some lowlights ....

- a total waste of the Omicronians.
- a Bender performance which see-sawed between sadistic and moronic (and VERY annoying).
- yet more gratuituous faux nudity and gross-out humor in place of acutal wit.
- a Bigfoot appearance so predictable it was a relief (of sorts) when it actually did show.
- Zoidberg has a homosexual crush on *Hermes*? Jee-zus.
- Katey Sagal's singing voice. Aargh!

The sole redeeming feature was the Bigfoot information film, but that isn't enough to lift this one out of the sewer. Really, it makes "A Leela of Her Own" (my previous pick for worst ever) look like a masterpiece, and I'm afraid it's my first ever "1" rating.

Please God, don't let Weiner have been responsible for any of the upcoming Bender eps. It's too depressing to even think about ....

It was OK. I only have two things to add to the comments left by the people before me.

1) If you missed it, during the ending credits, there was an episode of "The Scary Door". I think we saw the first episode during season 1 or 2. It just a Twilight Zone send-up.

I guess they're letting go all the extra stuff they were planning to "fill up" future episodes with. That is, of course, if the series wasn't cancelled.

2) Bender spoke French! Thats meant to be an extinct language. Oh well, a slight slip-up from the writers there.

Futurama: 5
France: 1

There are a lot of strange people reviewing this episode. It's not a top ten episode, but most surely not a 1. Larry, #111's comment is a bit odd, he must not be a hardcore futurama fan, if Fox was responsible for writing the episode, it would have gotten a NEGATIVE 100 percent rating, and that's being a little too generous.

The episode was good, but not great compared to the recent ones. Bender was hilarious. Can you say "WHOA" to Amy and Leela in the tent. ^_^

I give this episode a five. I thought there was enough tongue-in-cheek context to Bender's tasteless zingers to make the episode very funny. A good amount of unexpected twists in the humor, like the crisp Canadian beer, and Hermes' business.

127 people have rated this at 76% so far, I think that is totally unfair. They also gave "Put Your Head on My Shoulder" a 79%, so what do they know. A five by me should correct the mistake somewhat.

Even worse than 300 Big Boys.
Not only unfunny, but forced humor. Too many teenage jokes (A few are okay, but that was ridiculous) I have to agree with someone else earlier that this beats A Leela of her Own for worst Futurama episode.

On a different matter, I think i'll clarify my ranking system. Many people on here are content giving every episode a 5 because 1) It's still better than all the dreck reality shows out there.. and/or 2) It's the last few episodes, we should feel lucky. On this system, comparing the episode with television as a whole, I doubt I could think of an episode that would recieve lower than a 4. But i prefer to rank according to the episode's value as a chapter of Futurama. I don't care what the hell else is on TV. I give this episode a 1 because I consider it one of the worst (if not the worst) episodes of Futurama. And I don't buy the excuse that these are the last few episodes and we should give them all 5's. In a few months all of the episodes will be out on DVD and it won't matter which order they were aired in.

For me personally.

5 - Very Funny, drama a plus. (Roswell that Ends Well, Parasites Lost, The Sting)
4 - Good solid funny/meaningfull episode. (Jurassic Bark, The Pilot, Farnsworth Parabox)
3 - Standard Episode, good, but not fully realized. (Leela's Homeworld, Why of Fry)
2 - Below average, funny moments. (The Honking, 300 Big Boys)
1 - Sparse/forced humor, meaningless plot, poor execution. (Leela of her Own, Spanish Fry)

After letting the episode sink in, I now realize I was being a bit too generous giving it a 2 star rating. It barely deserves even 1 star.

The problem with episodes like this one are it strays from the premise of the Futurama series, and relies on the same formula as current Simpsons episodes (mostly a random occurance of events sprinkled with immature sexual jokes, unintelligent humour, people out of character, and just no interesting story you can follow from beginning to end).

Basically a GOOD episode involves interesting sci-fi concepts explored (time travel, alternative universes, shrinking, whatnot), a look at things in the future...and don't say there's nothing left to see. Plus a look at things from the past (the Old New York was cool, or things they've unearthed). Lots of intelligent and esoteric humour--sometimes even just little obscure reference to old movies or geek humour (remember the "Commodore LXVI" painting in The Honking?).

I also like seeing character development, even the Fry and Leela thing. Episodes like The Sting were excellent in that sense.

Spanish Fry was about none the above.

I have no idea why some people thought this was a good episode. Bender's constant jokes were tiresome and old... something like that may have been funny in the earlier seasons but I find that they're hackneyed now. the best bit was lrr learning his
lesson
" if i cut off this mans lower horn, am i any better than this pervert who wants bigfoots feet.....yes but not by enough"

would have given it a 4 but i'll have to say 5
because it looks to have been under rated.
which has been the case with just about every episode in production season 4
which is strange considering its easily been better than the other series'

A decent idea with some good bits (I especially liked the Calculon PEZ dispenser), but nothing but "lower horn" jokes in the latter half. That got a little old. The writers sometimes feel that they have to point out a joke for us simpletons to get it. That was Bender's entire role in this episode. Press the mute button on Bender and this ep gets a 4.

The episode was fairly funny at times, although the repetitive jokes about Fry's lower horn really weren't that funny. I'm only giving it a five because of the outer limits/ twighlighty zone bit during the end credits which had my laughing for hours. "it turns out it was man". fantastic!

It followed one plot line instead of two, and just didn't feel like a Futurama episode.
On the plus side, Bender was the best thing in this episode, adding an extra point to its score.

There were some good moments, but I just didn't find the A story that interesting, and with no real B story, it tended to drag a bit.

This wasn't as good as the Omicronians were in "Problem with Popplers"

We'll see how it stands the test of time.

Average. Better than "Bender Should Not...", but there where better ones in this season.

It had a good start with fry and the Bigfoot thing, but it let down somehow in the middle of the episode. LLR was nice to see again, but he seemed a bit too friendly. They could have made more out of the story.

Great! Fry looking for big foot was a good plot, and throwing in the Lurr and the aliens of Omicron Percei 8 made it that much better! A very funny episode. This was supposed to air the week before the last episode, but it didn't. Quotes: Leela: "Fry, we'll help you. Me, Bender, and maybe even Zoidburg if he wants to!" Zoidburg: "No, I'm good."

Whoever gave this episode less than 4 is gay, wants to be gay, or plays with trainsets. This episode is brilliant, and restored my faith after a few previous disappointments. Lrrr's line "I only wrote that poem to test my printer" is one of the best lines I've heard in years.

And those who wrote about Amy & Leela in the tent are just trying to cover the fact they are gay.

This rating system is not fair! If I could, I would give this episode a 10 out 10 rating. Good form, everybody. This was, in a word, fantastic!!! It was like a new-aged Austin Powers. Yeah, Baby! In the timeless words of Bender, '"Woo!". My favorite parts (pun intended) were the interactions between Lrr and his wife (love the bit about ketchup and salt.), "Me...oh..uh I'm just an ordinary guy...Ruler of OMNICRON PERSEI 8!, and the line where Lrr comments, '"I'd like to have Fry's lower horn jerked"' and Bender replies It's used to it! This is not the best Futurama episode ever, but it is still a strong one. I love Lrrr, and it is always nice to see him in an episode. The alien abduction scene was great. It did run a little long with the Lrrr Ndnd scenes, but still overall it was a good episode.

Bender's jokes were quite cheap but made this episode what it was. the alien dialogue and behaviour was also entertaining, and depicts the roguishness of some of the characters well which gives Futurama it's charm. I did find it weird the first time I saw it but on hindsight not too dramatic, and really quite light hearted

Ha I love this episode where they use "Human Horn" as an Aphrodisiac
but it doesnt work so they serve the Omocronians dinner and save Bigfoot at the same time.

I loved the idea of humans being poached in the future because our noses are aphrodisiacs for aliens.

I just finished reading an article on this site and found that Cohen and Groening wanted to go out with a bang. This episode proves that Futurama is for adults.

I enjoyed Bender's poking fun at Fry's "lower region". WOOOOOOO!!!

I especially enjoyed the news report the Planet Express gang was watching on "Human Horn"

*****

Female Alien: Human Horn? But it is forbidden.

Male Alien: Only our love.

*The male alien takes the human horn and scraps it over a grater onto the female alien's shoulder.*

*After grating the horn onto the female alien's shoulder, the male licks the horn pieces off the female's shoulder.*

*The female gets sexually aroused and the two kiss.*

Fry: BLAH!!!!!

when they did the sex scene with Lrrr and Ndnd, that made me so hot and horny, I wished they showed them having sex but uncensor the scene, my hormones raged during that scene, I wondered what it looked like to see Lrrr's erection and Ndnd's breasts and vagina exposed and what it looked like when they orgasmed, it must of looked hot.

Lots of funny moments, but somewhat lacking compared to Futurama's usual standard.

so many wrongs... but oh so right.

Bender just not being able to shut up was Bender at his best!

always worth a re-watch. (yes i know that isn't a word).

This was kind of a bad episode. The point of the plot shifted rapidly, making it seem longer than it was and very tedious. The only part I liked was Bender making 'Lower Horn' jokes.
