What I cannot understand is why they didn't lead with this episode. Good story, good math, good eco-message ... no shortage of Bender. Looking forward to more.

A very high 4, but not quite a 5, mainly because the main plot was pretty much done by the second act, and the subplot took up the final act.

Benderama was one of the best Futurama epsodes I've seen since "The Late Phillip J. Fry". Plot was good, Animations was GREAT, Comedy was the best in Season 6!

PS: At the Ending though, it makes me wonder if there's going to be a Benderama 2 Next Summer..............

This episode was classic Futurama, I loved the second and thrid acts b/c I didn't know for sure where the story was going and that's always a good thing.

If you love Bender this is your episode, we even get a giant Bender that's not just a what if in the final act.

#12 by MY LEG FEELS FUNNY!
This was most defiantly the better of the two as it was just really funny throughout and kept an interesting story. They don't take long to build up the story (Bender's laziness and the unattractive giant monster um, ugliness) which really helps the story flow nicely and doesn't take anytime away from the rest of the episode. A few highlights include a drunk Morbo, Patton Oswald's performance as the unattractive giant monster and basically anything the professor and Bender said. This was much better than the last years second episode and a really funny episode of Futurama that I would happily watch again very soon.

This episode was....OK. Pretty average. Reminiscent of an episode of Ugly Americans where there are lots of little Leonard's running about. I think the first two episodes of this season are a lot better than the first two of the last. I too am hoping for some more episodes as good as 'the late philip j fry' and 'inspector no5' :]

Much better than episode 1. Math and science humor mixed with sting character relationships and interactions (and a whole lot of Bender) make this show great. This episode stuck to that format and I loved it.

Kind of wonder if there's a message about the Arab Spring in this episode. Many little people rising up against a destructive oppressor. They're good at overthrowing things, but they're otherwise pretty lazy and useless.

I do agree with another Commenter here though. I felt bad for the giant. Granted, I'm 6'7" and it may have just been that I respect tall people automatically.

I give this an average rating because it had its moments, but overall the plot, writing, and originality are weak. Although this is better than the atrocity of season 6, it is no where near the caliber writing of seasons 1 to 5. did they get new writers?

A solid episode, if not a great one. It did have great moments, and classic sci-fi ingredients (grey goo, space aliens who love their mothers, and a lack of fresh water), but overall felt like it could've cut back on one or two and been better for it. That said, drunken Zapp and Kif were brilliant. Sheer genius. The comedy moments were very thick on the ground. However, there was very little geniune feeling or emotion between the characters. That tends to resonate badly with me. I feel that although it's funny, it lacks depth and heart. Which is what sets Futurama above other cartoons. It has depth, heart, and plenty of nerd jokes - which I noticed were thinly spread through this one. A shame. Still, it's far better than Attack of the Killer App or That Darn Katz, or The Cryonic Woman, to name a few. It's going to be one of my most-watched shortly, I'm certain.

Hey David Cohen, don't you really know how much 2 to the power 11 is?! Every nerd knows it's 2048, not 2046! It's such a common number in the PC world!

I should give you a 4 for that. But seeing all those 3D animated Benders, you still get a 5. Just don't screw it up again next time! :)

This was actually good. The reason why is because it felt like the old Futurama. Only TLPJF, Prisoner of Benda and Lethal Inspection edge this episode in greatness from the newer run. Also, feel like Bender is dethroning Fry as the main character of the show. I guess it makes sense because Bender is as he says "great." (Does anyone else agree?) Overall, a good episode just one issue IMO prevented it from becoming a true classic.

The whole plot reminded me too much of Bender's Big Score and Anthology of Interest 1. I felt like its been done before. Everything else worked out. The Zapper and Kiff cameo made the episode. It was a solid episode. IMO should have been the premiere episode. Light years better then Neutopia. 4/5

Enjoyed this one.. but one joke just sticks out with me.

Fry:"Like the Kardashians"

I've seen this ep twice now and it made me groan both times! It's one of those lame "insert celebrity here" jokes. Because mentioning a popular celebrity's name is hilarious right? ..ugh.. so lame.

But anywho, this was MUCH better than Neutopia. They should made this the season opener and completely scrapped Neutopia for the whole season.

While it had a few flaws (too much stupid-humor surrounding the ugly giant and a unnecessary sequence with the giants battling near the end), the humor in this episode stands out as the kind of excellent, clever, nerdy humor that only Futurama can deliver.

"That's why I came prepared with a backup phrasing."

This is the sort of plot that Futurama excels with: an absurd technological or science idea - ie, what if Farnsworth could make a machine that does X? -- that quickly runs amok due to an even more absurd usage, ie. Bender creating an infinite loop due to his laziness over folding 2 sweaters.

It was good and funny. Seeing Bender copy himself was bound to be funny and it was. I guess they left Earth before they could completely consume all its matter? And gravity somehow doesn't apply when you're microscopic huh? The ugly guy was alright, but I dunno, both plots didn't seem to fit that well. It was funny though and enjoyable, the whole crew was decent in it too...

An incredible concept for an episode that's plotted-out equally incredibly. In fact, from a technical 'writing theory' standpoint, it's one of the best written episodes that the show has ever produced -although maybe I'm biased because I love things that culminate in giant monsters fighting ala old 'Godzilla' movies as well as grey-goo theory.
Everything up until this point in the review suggests a 10/10 episode, but sadly, it's far from it. Something about how the story is executed is a tiny bit lacking -not much I should add, but just enough to miss off from being a 10/10 episode. And the same goes for the humour. It's a funny episode, but it's not exceptionally funny. Because of this, I'd only consider it to be an 8/10 (which equates to 4/5 on here).
4/5 it is, then.
