I'd give this episode a 4.5 for its okay first half and indescribably awesome second half, but since the rating bar doesn't allow fractions...

Terrible episode. It was a perfect example of what I don't want out of Futurama.

It had a bad plot, modern pop culture jokes(in very high abundance), not a single funny joke. It felt like one of their comics.

I seriously hope that ends up being the worst episode this season because it was as lame as PI, if not worst.

Worst...episode...ever.

Had a pretty strong first and second act. I actually felt like this one was paced a bit slow. I almost thought it was the third act shortly before the second commercial. The ending felt like one of the rushed ones from last year.

I thought it was okay. Not particularly amazing, but not really awful either.

The montage of Bender taking the photos was entertaining, and I'm glad to see the return of Fry's catchphrase. All in all, this episode didn't really have anything wrong with it, but not really anything great with it either other than a bunch of small gags.

I didn't find any of the pop culture references to be too jarring thankfully. They weren't really very subtle, but they were small and didn't drag down the entire episode AOTKA style.

Finally standart Futurama episode - 10/10. Absolutely loved it more than previous ones. The pop cultural jokes was necessary when the plot is focusing on celebrity stuff. And big spoiler here: Is Calculon is really dead or he will return without explanation in next episodes?

I really didn't like this episode at all. I don't think I laughed once during the whole half an hour, and the one thing I was looking forward to was Langdon Cobb's face and it was never revealed. I didn't find it funny at all that Calculon died and still lost the Acting Contest and by the end of the episode I was left very unsatisfied.

Usually when we're given a Bender episode, most of the time it's either hit or miss. Mainly because all of the Bender stories focus on him getting a new career and most of the time, they are kinda bland.
This one lands somewhere in the middle with good Sci-Fi story which blends in nicely with a simple Sit-Com story. Personally, it's just okay.

Extraordinarily dumb plot. But at least this ep had a few good gags early on (especially the close-up view of Farnsworth, reminiscent of Ren and Stimpy).

That alone puts it way ahead of the complete disaster last week (Decision 3012).

Probably the worst Dan Vebber episode, other than A Clockwork Origin. I loved the All My Circuits in the beginning, but after that, it was very bland and boring. There were a few good pop culture references, but they didn't make it funny enough. Really, it's a 2.5, but I'm nice, so I'm giving it a 3.

Fantastic ep. Great visuals, great Calculon, nice sci-fi concept of the ego and id. Loved the sight and sound of souls escaping from bodies.

Minus a fraction for the possibility that we might never see Calculon again!

The first half was okay and not particularly memorable, but the second half made up for it.

And considering most robots have back-up units that can be uploaded into new bodies when they die, I'm certain the writers will bring Calculon back. I just wonder if they'll bother to remind us of that if they bring him back.

Hmm, didn't really enjoy this episode - the main hook of the story was just too random and weird.

Actor with bag on head = erm, ok, bit strange but I can go with it.

Actor with bag on head turns out to be alien who feeds on adulation = what?

Alien actor with bag on head who feeds on adulation and has quantum entangled fungus other half = WTF? Oh so it's one of "those" episodes <turn off brain>

Reminded me mobius dick episode - space whale = good. space whale that feeds on obsession = wha?

so worst so far but still better season that last season. Just need to get that writing consistency back up to scratch.

Fantastic episode with a real classic feel to it. I particularly loved the first act. The pay-off and the Bag Head stuff was so-so, but the build up was really great, and the soul - sorry, life force, sucking effects were great. The visuals in the aquarium were also gorgeous.

All in all, another great episode. Keep it up!

One of the worst episodes of the whole serie.

One of the worst episode of the 4 aired of this season (on pair of horribility with "Decision 3012").

Please don't make more episodes like this one. A new character who claims for the protagonism of this episode and who we will never seen again. i don't get the point, seriously.

The fun lacked everywhere, even the space lacked here. Thanks for ruinning the return of futurama, 2 bad episodes of 4 till now.

I'm a huge fan of the series from day 1 to day infinity, but honestly, this was probably my least favorite episode ever. Just too many cheap shots about actors and their ego. Not that I disagree, but there's just nothing particularly clever about the concept. If it somehow tied into the wider story of Futurama, then maybe I would like it better, but as a standalone story, it just doesn't hold up. Sorry. Hoping this marks the low point.

This episode does show an example how Bender is great. Pop culture references has to be Futurama's main jokes. I don't see why Bender is depressed on Calculon's death. Season 7 is awesome, I thought it would slump like Season 6. Seems average.

I love when Futurama gets really wacky, but this one was just too weird for its own good, partly because it relied on non-clever tabloid spoofs. In fact, Calculon's brilliant death sequence (can't think of a better way to kill him off) saved it from being completely disposable. He deserved to die in an overall better episode.

This episode was just a good episode of futurama. It made me laugh. Characters and plot felt true to a typical futurama episode. Although I did have to suspend my belief a little too much with the whole "Life force draining" thing.

I'm really hoping that the upcoming "Calculon 2.0" episode reintroduces Calculon with a new appearance,(though not unrecognisable) as this would be consistent with the claims he made in "The Honking".

I find it amazing that there have been so few Bender/Leela episodes, considering they're two of the most important characters in the show. Off the top of my head, there's I Second That Emotion, Raging Bender, The Bird-Bot of Ice Catraz, more recently with Decision 3012 and this one.

But anyway, this episode, I enjoyed it. I was worried it was going to be a bit "That's Lobstertainment"-ish, but it was good.
