I have been Bendered out this season. This was a low point in what has otherwise been a solid season.

This episode felt rushed and completely off-the-wall. I'm not understanding what the writers have been trying to accomplish this season, but this episode certainly felt flat.

I think this was one of my favorites of the season. Went in with low expectations, but this one had tons of great gags. The ice cream bit cracked me up. 4.5/5 for me.

As an animal rights activist myself I've loved every episode (and movie) thus far which ties into activism... until now. This was a very "meh" episode that was by far the worst of all "activist" related themes. I guess that's what happens when you kill off all the Waterfalls. I few good gags but not a very good episode.

A shockingly boring episode. The story went nowhere interesting, with The Most Dangerous Game being spoofed better on a million other series before, and very few laughs throughout (the ice cream and Judge Whitey gags being 2 of them). It didn't make me wince at its stupidity like "The Butterjunk Effect" did, but I found myself yawning more than most episodes this season.

I saw the ending to this one a mile away, but it was still a fun romp to watch. Have to agree with the first reviewer though, it's been a Benderama season. Overall, I would watch this episode again in syndication. 3.5 feels right, but will have to round it.

I'm having a lot of trouble finding something to say about this episode, because even though I just watched it a few minutes ago, I can barely remember it. Seriously. This is possibly the least memorable episode ever. I can barely remember the plot, and I can recall about two lines. I didn't laugh very much, although I liked the brief scene with Ron Whitey in court. But other than that, it stood out for being so damn forgettable.

It was okay. It met my expectations of being a pretty average episode. There were some good funny moments, every joke involving Bender's middle finger was funny, as was the beginning with the crew getting new suits. I thought there were quite a few misses, though. The interpretive dance scene in particular was almost cringe worthy. I didn't have a problem with Leela suddenly being all protective of animals again, since she turned on the fox so quickly. Maybe puppies and kittens did her wrong in the past.

Call me crazy, but I really dug this episode. I found it funny and well written. The story told may not have been A calibre, but the writing and jokes certainly made up for it. It reminded me of episodes like 'I Dated a Robot' and 'Raging Bender', which is fine by me.

Highlights: The twist at the end and....... ... Farnsworth dressed up as Zed from Zardoz.

5/5

I knew I'd have to pay for the great "Viva Mars Vegas" episode with an absolutely horrible one, and here it is. They probably should have aired the Vegas episode last so we'd have more hope for the next season.

This episode was incredible talky and felt an hour long yet nothing interesting happened. Also, it must be nice to get paid for writing a story when you basically lift it from "The Most Dangerous Game".

Let's fire Patic M Verrone. Verrone did a few good eps in the past but his "new Futurama" episodes are all pretty weak or downright bad. Director Fong is new so I'll give him another chance but he might need to go as well.

Pretty mediocre. A few really funny gags but overall the story fell really flat and the "twist" was really obvious (and done better in a previous episode) in my opinion.

Just got my power back after 6 days without due to the hit of Hurricane Issac...so I was extra jovial when I watched this episode so that might be affecting my vote but I loved this episode. Patrick Stewart was fantastic. Bender's trigger finger gag was funny.
The reveal about the robots was predictable but still entertaining when you see the heads on the wall.

Pretty bad, returning to the "huh" eps again. The only moment I smiled was Bender carrying the horse. Btw. where's Nibbler? Some new planets? Etc. etc. I'm missing invention..damn it's sci-fi, there's so much more potential than fox hunting.

Very average in every sense.

The good things: Forest scenery looked very nice. Patrick Stewart as a guest star was also good, but his character wasn't very interesting.

The Bad things:
It seemed like a pretty contrived plot. It didn't feel like the plot had any believable or organic reason for happening and the characters had become aware that they were characters on a TV show. I felt like I was being performed to and not like I was watching believable characters anymore. This story had no reason to be told.

Um, the review links on the front page have to be fixed. My review for this ep was posted to the Mars episode.

Anyway, Fox was a dud. Barely a few chuckles, and a boring plot. Par for a pretty uneven season.

Sir Patrick Stewart was wasted in this role.

This episode was based on a weak premise, and didn't really have much going for it to redeem itself.

The plot made very little sense, but more importantly, it just wasn't very funny. Which is much worse.

Was it terrible? No... but it didn't scrape by as average, either.

Not a very futuramish episode, but instead a non futurama episode forced into the futurama theme. It doesn't fits fluently enough.

Lol'd with the mechanical chickens and some other situations, but overall it's a very forgetable episode in my opinion.

simple answer both Edmund Fong & Patric M. Verrone deserve atomic wedgies for releasing this as is. Imagine the entire episode from bullfighting, perhaps it would have worked better but fox hunting? serious... #sigh#
