It was easily the best Calculon episode ever made.
It had me crying at the end for poor old Calculon.

An imperfect episode but still an awesome one, and certainly miles ahead of where we were from last week's mess. "Its like magic, but with electricity!"

Very deep episode in using Calculon as a metaphor for the series itself.

Bravisimo.

Meh...it was a good one but I wasn't laughing very much, still I love the Robot Devil, they should incorporate him more often

Funny. Great continuity. I really liked the ep. Possibly the best of the season. I can see the show picking itself up now. Keep it up Futurama! :D

A very meta but funny episode. The voice acting was outstanding and the well-worn plot was executed perfectly. Best episode since Near Death Wish.

Great pacing, especially compared to other episodes this season. Nice to see some old B-list characters back.

A very funny episode. I was a little disappointed that they ended up just killing Calculon again - I was expecting a more cynical version where his over-acting won everyone over - but a poignant and entertaining close to his career (and the show).

The HAL show itself was worth the price of admission.

It was ok. Nothing spectacular though. Overrated in my eyes. The ending was good and emotional though.

Really great episode, definitely had the old Futurama episode vibe to it! I did get a sense that Calculon was a metaphor for the series as they revived him (renew) and then he died again (cancelled again). I'm still hoping it's been a trick this whole time and Futurama will stay on TV forever. All the garbage that's on TV today and of course they cancel Futurama.

I liked this one a lot. Best part was how they very scientifically reanimated (no pun intended) Calculon. Hail Science!

The TV Execubots are hilarious!
I totally agree with Why Not Zoidberg...
Episode does seem like a clever metaphor for Futurama's history.
So, why can't they kill off ten or a hundred idiotic 'Reality' TV shows, letting Calculon and our series live on...

As much as I like Calculon, even his episodes in the original run were pretty weak. But this was a pretty good end to his character, as a preferable death to "The Thief of Baghead", which sucked. Besides, even if he lived, it's not likely we'd have seen him again before the series itself ends.

First act was hilarious, though I was hoping they'd keep the demonic theme going the rest of the episode, as you can't get too much Robot Devil. What we got instead was decent, if not as funny as the first 5 minutes.

Def worthy of a 5 and def gonna rewatch this episode again.

Everything worked about this episode: the pacing, the story, the jokes, and the characters were all flawless. It was great to have Calculon back and the way it was executed seemed natural and interesting. Definitely felt like one of the classic episodes.

out of the seven episodes so far in this season, this one falls right in the middle for me. It's not in the top three, and it's not in the bottom three. I thought the pentagram scene was pretty clever since it could be taken as poking fun at Satanists, Christians, or atheists, depending on how you look at it.

This episode recalls the glory days of Futurama, which proves there is much life left in the show. Here's hoping that the show is picked up on another network that will give it the attention it deserves.

Great companion piece to "Bender Must Not Be Allowed On TV," in which Calculon,
In one of the funniest lines ever, called Bender a "filthmonger."

Maurice LaMarche did a wonderful job, again.

Knowing he likes to impersonate William Shatner (with the same drama and long pauses) and Orson Welles' Rosebud he must have had a blast recording it.

And it shows: great performance!

By far it is the best episode this season!

Calculon: This is going to be the greatest career resurrection since... Jesus-- aloha from hawaii.

Bender: Are you done talking,
or is this a long pause?.
Calculon: I'm done talking.
Bender: Okay, that's what I thought.get a new image.

Loved this episode. Thought it was really funny and had a good plot. Loved the dramatic pauses and Fry guessing that the number the Robot Devil was thinking of was M.

It was all very neutral for me. It didn't provoke any emotions -- good or bad.

I was really hoping for some more laughs, but I barely chuckled at all. On the other hand, there was nothing that made me want to vomit.

So far, my favorite episode from Season 7B. The voice acting was superb in this episode, especially from Maurice LaMarche, the jokes were funny and plentiful, the story was nicely paced, and it was just a really great episode overall.

Meh. Not bad, but usually the Hollywood/Showbiz episodes fall flat. (Lobstertainment, Bender paparrazo etc) liked Calculon acting sincere and some great jokes, but still didn't leave me begging for more.

Love that they brought Calculon back so they could kill him again. Plus, another Robot Devil appearance. It really seems like they are bringing back every recurring character from previous seasons this year as a final send-off for them. Loved Calculon's swan song! And Bender is at his best when he's robbing graves.

Worst episode of the season. Calculon is okay in small doses, but he certainly doesn't deserve an episode to himself, especially with so few left and so many other characters who need more attention. If not for the robot devil, this might have rated a '1'.

Calculon 2.0= That's Lobstertainment 2.0 except with a weaker lead character (Zoidberg makes even a weak storyline funny, because well, ZOIDBERG! Calculon simply does not).

No idea why this episode is so popular when other episodes in a similar vein like That's Lobstertainment and Bender Shouldn't Be Allowed on TV were less well received. My least favourite from series 7.

I liked the scenes with Morbo, Robot Devil and also the "hail science" scene. I thought that was quite shrewd since if you think about it, futuristic science would seem "magical" in the same way that the idea of tv would seem like hocus pocus to someone from the year 1000. Unfortunately too many of the other gags in Calculon 2.0 were straight-up recycled from previous showbiz themed eps.

I get the metaphor of using Calculon depicting Futurama itself but killing him in the end again was simply not necessary. Some good laughs in this one which made for a slightly above average episode. Good to see some of the old characters again.
