Futurama is starting to be really silly. The first act was kinda ok (they are still doing really dumb and crazy jokes and out of character moments though). The second was a bit boring with nothing so interesting and the last one... well... The ending was stupid.

I thought it was a pretty amusing tale. I also appreciated how many different places we got to visit in the span of a single episode.

The first act was pretty meh. I liked the Winnie the Pooh reference, and the spider references. The gang thing was alright. It would be a little better if we haven't had already seen a gang in 2D Blacktop.

The second act was perfect. It involved Bender searching for his body parts. I liked this act the most. Everything was spot on.

And the third act, was pretty good. I liked how his ass was so shiny. But it spinning back to him was kinda dumb. And the ending with the fireworks was really stupid. May it be the series' worst ending for an episode? That has yet to be seen. Maybe not.

I think I might give it a 4/5. But I'll give it a 5/5 for the hell of making the rating higher. It's way too low.

I for one though this final Bender oriented episode hit all the right notes. Great idea to do an episode about his ass.
All the jokes worked, which is rare.
And the regular PE crew actually made a delivery again.
Best episode of the season, thus far.
Williams can out write her husband all day long.

A 5/5.

I'll admit that the story was pretty silly and kind of strange, yet it came together really well. The best aspect was getting to see all the different locations the crew visited. This was a real treat and something that Futurama has always done well: immersing us in new and bizarre worlds.

I was really impressed with this episode. The premise sounds utterly ridiculous (and it is), but seeing it play out was really fun. It made great use of the future and I appreciated the focus on the trio. But best of all, it was funny. There were quite a few parts that had me in laughter:

-The idea of the two gangs having almost-identical colours was great.
-"Leela, now's not the time to show me your boobs!"
-I liked how they didn't spend too long on the gang planet (because lets face it; they're hardly the most original characters).
-The stuff with Hedonismbot was disturbing.
-"I'm 40% back baby!"
-Bender sawing off Tinny Tim's legs and subsequently stealing his board was hilariously dark.
-"I didn't even know you had an ass!"
-The animation on the gas sea was beautiful.
-The ships all crashing at the end was a nice touch.

If there's anything I can be critical about, it's that the joke level seemed to drop once they met Tarquin. It was still tolerable, so it's no real big deal. However, the ending with "Assie" coming home made no sense at all. Like, none. I suppose you could argue that it was meant to be ridiculous, but the same could be said about all the magical-nonsense in Bender's Game and "Neutopia". And speaking of Neutopia, did anyone else think the Borax Kid looked smaller than his first appearance, or was that just me?

Overall, a really impressive last Bender episode.

Loved it. I especially loved all the different robots that I saw and tried to name. Berbils, Rosie, Iron Giant, Dalek, Bubo,Big Guy (from Big Guy & Rusty), Robo Bill & Ted, Gigantor, a Cyclon, and Alpha-5 were the ones I saw.

5/5. I don't care if people think I'm being a fanboy of newer futurama. For the record, the majority of 7B has been disappointing for me. But not this one. This was by far the best of 7B, and one of the best the show has ever done, period.

Yes, a very silly episode, but I liked all the places the PE crew went, searching for Bender's body parts...

Robot Url with a huge head? Cool!

Quite a fun episode, indeed.

The staff obviously need more women writers.

I cant believe nobody mentioned the music. That piano music conveyed a sense of loss and the beauty of self sacrifice. Those contemplative shots of outer space with that piece of music are top quality Sci Fi.

A superb episode, in Futurama's case episodes with terrible-sounding plots usually turn out to be really good, and this is proven here. Great animation, lots of callbacks & sci-fi, nice lines, lots of jokes and just a genuinely well-made episode.

Futurama just got back in great shape, just like Bender in tonight's ep. I loved Fry playing Winnie the Pooh, URL's giant robot head, Tinny Tim's scene and the tons of visual gags the ep. had. Definitely one of the best episodes from this last lot.

It felt like nothing actually happened in this episode. In fact, when it ended, I was like "Wait, that's it?" They recollect Bender's parts, Bender gives up his ass for one minute, it magically returns with nothing at stake, then fade to black.

There were some good jokes here and there (Tinny Tim scene was great), but the ass jokes have been done better in countless previous episodes, and plot-wise, it felt unfinished.

I feel too harsh giving this a 2, since there was nothing BAD about the episode. But it went absolutely nowhere.

Worst plot of the season. Least funny of the season.

Why didn't Fry and Leela die when they exited the PE Ship on the asteroid?

Excellent episode with a lazy pointless ending that didn't make much sense. STILL worthy of a 5, since we're currently going through a string of episodes that feel like a throwback to the glory days of the classics.

The ending where benders ass returned to him happened because lets face it...bender ain't no saint. So when his Ass was subjected to the bible...lol that's when it gained enough centrifugal force, from spinning, to send it flying back to earth. Thus returning to bender.

The jokes were amazing...the only thing i didn't like was where they first crashed at the light house. They were technically still in space no? So why no space suits? lol. But apart from that i loved it.

Those gangs were pretty damn stupid...who fires a gun that's pointed at their head? But they were in a city called Detroit...is Detroit really all that bad...lol. If so i guess this is why i always take the Buffalo route when visiting the States...lol.

Overall...4/5...but i'll give it a 5 cause this show deserves credit and needs to return.

This episode was headed for a '5' until we arrived at the lighthouse. Yeah, Bender's ass is shiny, but this went just a little off the deep end. All in all, still a very good episode, and unlike Calculon, Bender's ass did deserve an episode of its own.

Did anybody else find it ironic that the lighthouse was the cause of more accidents than it prevented? And yes, I do believe that qualifies as a proper use of the word irony.

There is a line between amusingly silly and terrible and this one crossed into the second category. The first act had its moments and then it went pretty much downhill. The only reason I gave this episode a two is due to Bender taking Tinny Tim's legs back. Hilarious.
