This was probably the best of the Season. It had me at the edge of my seat during the second/third acts, and the first act was hilarious! It was so cleverly written.

I didn't like the Facebook referencing, and Leela eating Fry's kidney. Like woah. Weird.

Also, the ending. It was unexpecting, but an awesome way to end the ep. And it was so, funny with Fry and Bender at the end.

5/5 , or 9/10. It was an Instant Classic in my books.

Great episode! There was never a stale moment in this one, with jokes throughout that really fed off of the chemistry of the Fry/Bender, Leela/Amy, and Hermes/Zoidberg pairings.

Couldn't ask for more. :)

The second half of this season is really finishing strong thus far... Hope the next two are of a similar quality to these last five.

I'd compare this episode with "Calculon 2.0" in that it didn't really have anything about it that irritated me. Funnily enough, it's by the same writer as well.

I was little grossed out by Leela eating Fry's kidney, which felt like it was mostly there for shock value. The jokes around it were pretty funny though, (such as the Professor getting a burger-kidney transplant) so I won't hold it against the episode too much. The rest of the first act was solid. I enjoyed the appearance of Nine and his many feet gestures, as well as the cameo from Wernstrom's pet fish. All the trust issues were entertaining, but they did feel a tad forced.

As for the whole alien-on-the-ship thing, I was impressed that it managed to constantly surprise me without becoming predictable. The fact that it actually ended up being a trust-building program after all took me by surprise, since I wasn't expecting a repeat of what the fake Professor claimed earlier.

One thing the episode nailed was tension. I was at the edge of my seat during the scene with Hermes and Zoidberg in the vents, and it was funny having Leela and Amy smack the crap out of Hermes' dangling legs. The scene with Bender and Fry outside the ship was... weird. I'm not sure exactly how Fry manged to wear Bender like an Iron Man suit, but it was amusing to see, and I've always secretly wondered what it'd look like if someone were to be inside Bender like that. Now that I've told that secret, nobody better post that on Facebook.

Additionally, I liked the nicknames "Friender" and "Lamy", mainly because they're almost opposites of each other (okay, not really).

The resolution was neat, and I like how Dan McMasters didn't consider the fact that Fry and Bender wouldn't believe him (I sure as hell wouldn't have). It was relieving to see that there wasn't any bullshit Deus Ex Machina where the eaten crew were teleported through a portal in the alien's stomach into a magic room where they all survived or something like that, which I was expecting.

I'll score this one an 8/10. It's a pretty solid effort that had pitch-perfect pacing.

Usually episodes strike me as a 3 or 4 out of five and grow on me thereafter (the only show I experience this phenomenon with), but this particular episode was clearly a classic from act 1 on.

My top 5 list is crowded so I'm not sure if it'll crack that, but this was a great episode! 5/5 :)

What a fun episode. Balanced sense of humor, adventure, and silliness. It kept you on your toes with so many misdirections after one another that nothing was predictable, and the ending was hilarious. And yet it was also a very simple episode with one focused storyline. I wish more time was devoted to the shape-shifting sequence (it kinda flew by at that point) but a fun, silly episode was welcome after last week's heartbreaker.

Looking more promising that this mostly mediocre final season will end with a string of great episodes.

This was a fun episode and had some wonderful moments. Not the strongest of the season but it was a lot of fun and one more reminder of how empty television will be without this show.

WOW.

I actually felt tense and nervous during this episode! It was like Futurama does horror. The episode did have a few flaws -- I was grossed out by the kidney thing, and the first act was hitting us over the head with the theme of trust a little too hard. But you know what? This was entertaining and exciting. Five stars.

Holy shit, that was a funny episode. It'd been far too long since I'd properly laughed at a Futurama episode, and this had me in tears. Team Hermberg and the fact the creature kept surprsing me was hilarious. I actually really liked the ending, it didn't feel like a cop out or it ended too early. The first act was the weakest, the kidney joke was ehh, but I enjoyed the return of the F-Ray and the continuity that Amy is good at golf.

This was obviously the lost episode! A left over episode from the FOX run that was never finished, until now.
Nothing since revival has been this classic.

Probably the 3rd best 'in the series' episode.

Hilarious. Plays a lot with "The Thing" and "Alien" but ends up turning a lot of the clichs in on themselves.

Something about Scruffy shuffling the cards in Candy Land that was great.

This episode had many of the features that made me like Futurama in the first place. A stand-out Ep for sure and I'm glad we got an instant classic. If they can hit the same notes for the finale, at least in my book, it will have been a proper send off for the fans.

While last week packed an emotional punch reminiscent of some classic episodes, this one brought the funny in an unmistakably Futurama-esque way. Constant laughs, unpredictable, outrageous, exceptional plot. If you had told me this was from season 2 or 3, I would have believed it. Damn I'm gonna miss this show a lot.

Really? 'Instant Classic'??

This was the same lousy half-ideas we've seen time and time again since it came back to Comedy Central.

I'm really sick of the lame endings where either everything is wrapped up in 30 seconds or just unresolved. Fry and Bender now murderers with (likely) zero reference next episode? Chauffeur Nibblonians as a sad excuse to revisit the show's foundation in 1999?

I'm really hoping that the finale shocks us for being as good an ending as 'The Devil's Hands...' or 'Wild Green Yonder' - something with real heart and substance. Fan since Day 1 but I really don't want two more dud episodes.

Some people are taking the events in this episode way too serious... The theme of the episode was trust... and it was brilliantly presented in this classic... YES CLASSIC episode. Funny and witty... loved the darker shadowy parts.

A solid episode. Good comedy pacing and I ended up enjoying most of the punchlines as they steadily rolled out. The theme references to sci-fi classics The Thing and Aliens was a definite plus for me, especially with the weird Futurama twist they gave it.

Didn't care for the organ munching bit early on, and Fry wearing Bender went into the Bugs Bunny area of comedy which does not suit this show.

Otherwise, a good episode.

Either people have lowered their standards so much, making this episode seem good, or Comedy Central has brought in a lot of new fans that are incredibly easy to please.

This episode has logical flaws once you know the ending and leaves open a rather serious issue regarding Bender and Fry being murderers. I was also annoyed by the infinitely large Planet Express ship. I know it's never been the most realistic vessel and has a long history of ever-changing layout but this episode went over-the-top.

On a positive note, I thought the animation and direction made for a gorgeous episode. Lots of dramatic "lighting" and interesting scenery and staging. I just wish the stories from this new batch were better. And I miss the symphonic music from the original run!

I really enjoyed this episode - hilarious and with a good mystery plot to it. I don't have much else to say other than I'm glad the series is finishing off with some really great episodes, it's going to leave us all wanting more, exactly how a show should end.

Although I'm not too sure how I like Bender and Fry's deep dark secret... murder is pretty dark for Fry, although probably not so much for Bender.
