Fry…. What more is there to say? This is a GREAT figure of Fry! Yeah, sure, he has problems, like the paint job and joints of motion, but it really doesn’t matter, because it’s Fry!
As
with the other figures, the paint job is kind of screwy. His paint job can
get layered in certain areas, and can look a little awkward with his joints,
but it’s not that noticeable and it doesn’t stop all of his vibrant
colors from showing and catching your eye.
His joints of motion lag in a few ways, such as his legs - because they have four joints of motion, yet are still extremely hard to maneuver. His arms are done very well in my opinion though. They are fully movable, although they can only move up and down and not side to side.
Fry’s facial expression is
great, and his hair is dead on to the show. Although his body is much thinner
than on the show. He
doesn’t
even have a pot belly! But I suppose if he had a pot belly, he would resemble
Playmate’s Homer Simpson figure.
What really makes this figure great are all the added accessories that come with Fry. You get a cryo chamber (#44), a ray gun, a can of Slurm, and a can of Angry Norwegian Anchovies. All of which are highly detailed and just cool to look at and play with.
