It was great seeing Futurama and the Simpsons together. But it just was more of a setup to the second one than an actual story. This led to fewer jokes. Still can't wait for the next one though.

Mainly a setup issue, but really, really funny. Maybe it was because I had partaked in some herbal remedies before reading it, but I was laughing outloud at quite a bit! All I'm gonna say is everything concerning springfield elementary in this is a riot! So is Quimby! Now we have to wait till December!!! What a crock!

What can I write more about this comic that I have not already done so at so many other message boards or newsgroup? Judging by the fact that I am writing here I guess more.
Congrats to Ian Boothby for figuring out a way to get both the Simpsons and Futurama together in one comic book. I don't know if he is a fan of Futurama but there must have been one of those eureka! moments as he was watching the episode the Day the Earth Stood Stupid! By relying heavily on the mythos of Futurama he has created a very strong and believable storyline that fans of Futurama and Futurama Comics could enjoy.
More kudos to James Lloyd for the stellar job on the artwork. Everypage is exceptionally well done and shows that he has a strong handle on all the Bongo Comics characters. I can't wait for the next issue!
The character mixes resolve just as you would expect (Bender/Homer, Fry/Bart, Leela/Lisa) so the story is broken up into many little sub-stories which is much better than if it was written as the PE crew meets the Simpsons crew. The way the story is played out now gives it much more dynamics and many more possibilities. I would like to see the whole gang interact at some point down the line but I do not believe it will detract any if they did not.
I am looking forward to how all this will end and hope that somehow everybodies favorite space martians (Kang and Kodos) make an appearance. Since the Omicronians do not appear to have made it into this book we won't see an epic confrontation between the two space travelers. That truly would have been epic. As such it is a great story that keeps me looking forward to part 2 and the collected volume planned for release after this ends. I hope we get some cool extras in the trade paperback and not just a reprinting. Bongo dudes are you listening?

Great story and I like the fact that it was more Futurama based than Simpsons based. The first 11 pages set up the story and the rest was the meeting, so I expect less setting up in the second issue. Overall, a great idea and premise that makes sense.

A very good comic where the Futurama team are zapped into a Simpsons comic book and tries find out how to get home to the future again. Make sure to buy it. I'm pretty sure it will increase in value pretty fast.

First, I have to say that this is the only Futurama Comic I actually read (I got them all, but I decided to wait with reading them until after all episode aired).
Basically, I liked it as a build-up story, but as always with comics, I feel like it could've been some longer.
The drawing was pretty well done (Not far off the show characters) and the story idea (how to get them together) is nice, too (but please don't make a series out of that like 'Futurama meets superman').

Two consistency goofs I didn't like:
1. Bender wouldn't smack Fry that hard
2. Bender wouldn't say jerkwad

This was a very well done comic book. I think that it would be great if it were a three-parter, but I guess I should just be thankful to get this much out of it.

It was a great story line and I like how Planet Express & The Simpsons were able to meet. It wouldn't have made sense any other way because Futurama is like our world in the future and The Simpsons is like a totally different world all it's own.

If I had one complaint it would probably be the lack of Amy. I mean, they show what happened to Fry, Leela, Bender, the Professor, Dr. Zoidberg, Hermes, Nibbler, and even Scruffy when they got sucked into The Simpsons world yet they didn't say anything about Amy. Oh well, I'm sure she's around somewhere. I mean she was there in the beginning. Well, I'm sure she'll be in Part 2. I am personally hoping that in this one that the Simpsons will get sucked into the Futurama world somehow. That would be really cool. I give this comic book 5 out of 5 points. For a comic book spoiler, read below...

Planet Express gets sucked into The Simpsons world when they go to a planet where all of Earth's comics will be sealed up never to be read again to be in mint condition. The brain spawn from "The Day The Earth Stood Stupid" are behind it and they suck the Planet Express crew into a Simpsons comic book. That's how they meet.

Although a lot of people have been sceptical about combining Futurama and The Simpsons, this comic works with awesome results. I've always liked the idea, but it needed to be done right, and using the brain spawn to help was a class idea. This comic is even better than I hoped for, and I think it could even work as a TV episode.

Defaintly?, common. You people need serious schooling in spelling and grammar. Not so much grammar but spelling, and you call yourselves functional adult; more like functional illiterates.
