Comics #18The Time Bender Trilogy Part Two: "Boned to the Future"
After defending their recently uninhabited world from alien invaders, Fry, Leela, and Bender set out to discover the whereabouts of their missing colleagues as well as billions of citizens from Planet Earth. But "where are they?" soon turns into "when are they?" and "how" and "why" also make a little appearance in Part 2 of "Time Bender Trilogy."

I just got the direct edition, and wow! This issue was sharp and clever, it really bulit up the plot and kept the suspense through out the entire story.
Leela kicking Homer in the face was so funny. Pick up a copy today.
Plus:Cubert bulids a robot monkey!

Hmmmm......
Three different cliffhangers.
That's three reasons to get the next issue, even though i have no idea when the next one is out.
Still, great comic, and if they don't carry on making them i shall be very angry and do something. I'm not sure what yet but i will.
Don't think i wont!

I can only hope the Greek Gods were a result of the timeshifts, similar to the alien attacks of 1918.

The main problem I had with this comic is that because the majority of it is set in the past, it lost some of the Futurama "feel". Another problem is that, as a direct result of this, aside from the first panel, over half of the Planet Express gang fail to be seen throughout the entire Comic! Professor Farnsworth, Hermes, Amy, Dr Zoidberg, Nibbler and Scruffy are all missing after the first panel, and not all of those characters are even in the first panel either! This wouldn

It was good, though it felt shorter than regular issues, maybe due to fact it had three stories in one. Otherwise, very amusing.

Issue # 18 is the cliff hanger of all issues. It follows three different stories that are some what interesting, but are cut a little to short. The issue however gives very little detail in to how they will get everyone out the portal the are in. So it is a some what funny issues, but shows very little progress in the story. Can't wait for the next.

This issue rocked! I have been a long time Simpsons reader and have made the cross over to Futurama (way better I may add), and the only 2 bad things about this issue were, I missed the first part of the trilogy, and it was really short.

Funny stuff:

opening page:
Prof: "Whats eating Zoidberg?"
Hermes: "It appears to be a Velociraptor"

page 5:
Leela: "Im sorry, I didn't realise you were blind"
?????: "The name's Homer"
Leela: "like the cartoon character?"
Homer: "sorry?"
(was Simpsons still around in the year 3000?)

page 9:
you can see that population Earth and Leela's presence in the stone age and greece has eventually changed the pioneers fear of witches has changed to robots and on
Page 11:
World(s) War one has aliens involved now, against Omicro Persei 1-27
and blah blah blah i just wanna go watch boy meets world now in summary its a good comic

It was good and funny. I liked the pictures and I epsecally liked the Homer Joke. One thing bothered me alot though(I am a history freak). The fact that they used Ulysseus, but then used the name Hermes. If it was correct, Ulysseus would be Odysseus, or Hermes would be Mercury. They gotta stick to either roman or greek. :)

This issue would have made a great anthology of interest episode, when you read it for the second time, just read the 3 stories on their own, it works out much better. The Fry and Leela parts were great, I just didn't know enough about Salem to get the Bender story.
Kudos to John Delaney! His art in this issue is nice, his best yet.
So yeah, I liked it for the inventive script, and of course, the kickass Leela cover.

Another John Delaney story. That's two in a row some of the art is rushed and quite poor he would be better with a different inker. The story made no sense and was very shabby. A big let down :(

This just got released in Australia (we would only just be getting #17 but luckily they moved the schedule so Futurama is bi-monthly over here). It's a great issue. It felt a bit strange though that Fry, Leela, and Bender are all apart in different times but, hey, thats what the conclusion's for!
