It's a pretty good issue. The story is really Bender being as much of an evil unlikable character as possible, but that's why he's so lovable. Quite a funny issue but let down by some terrible art, really quite painfully off...

I thought the story had such a lot of potential, but it just fell a bit flat for me. There were too many plotholes. Why were the crew starving because they weren't eating Bender's food? Haven't they heard of, say, going to a shop and buying something to eat?

That said, I thought Bender being in charge of a sweatshop was fairly funny, although I did wonder how everyone in NNY was able to just leave their jobs and participate. There were some good jokes, such as when Zoidberg took off his shell, and I thought the whole Leela/Amy rivalry thing was funny.

The art was very off in numerous panels. I notice that the artist for this comic doesn't appear to have drawn for any others - hopefully, if they use him again, he will be much better now that he will have had a taste for the characters.

Overall, not as good as it could have been, let down by some quite poor art. Average, I'm afraid.

Although it does try to capture the humour of the show, there are many things which just don't work; Bender acting like a jerk in the pharaoh episode/being a bad chef etc.. These elements are old and dull, also why is Hermes eating clothes?? Nixon making shoes?? Very daft. He also looked like a bull dog when he gains weight, how is he supposed to eat anyway? Also the ending was terrible. We need more focus on other characters. Mike Kazaleh artwork was poor in places. The character models are helpful for the main cast, but other people aren

First comic I read and hilarious. The Zoidberg part was the best. To bad Farnsworth wasn't in this one.

this was't a really intresting story, and the story was kinda stupid .like czar of fitness? what the hell is that? and it looked like a failed attempt to write a funny story. None of the "jokes" were funny and the ending is stupid.

An average issue, the artwork could have been improved. Mike Kazelah started off good in this issue but the characters like Amy and Hermes looked a little strange. The story was great but a bit rushed towards the end. Anyway it's funny so I've given it a 3.

This issue is one of those that shows how enjoyable Futurama can actually be -- it's one of my least favourite issues, although it is NOWHERE near bad. The main letdown was the artwork. The story was actually pretty good, even if there weren't as many jokes as I would have like to have seen. The whole sweatshop thing was well done, and I liked the addition of Bender's bootleg video game. Another good issue from Bongo.
