PLEASE READ RESPONSIBLY!

Another great tagline to start off the comic. I'm glad that they have continued in the tagline tradition after the cartoon. (I'm still hoping for "Bender's Back, Baby" for the upcoming movie/cartoon.)

For the most part, this story would work quite well as a future episode in the series. And in a story all about irony, it does a very nice job of keeping on that topic throughout.

Just some nitpicking, on page 27, it may have helped to have a broken watch lay on the ground near Bender's feet. And to re-use the gag from the show of someone's eyes falling out of their sockets within the Scary Door Zone... Hmm.. I was rather dissapointed with that. And as for the ending, with the trio porting back into a cell, I thought you would have finished the set up by Bender from earlier in the book where he is looking for a universe where robots enslave humanity. But then again, I guess that wouldn't be ironic, except that they wouldn't really be transported out from the Scary Door.

There are a few background jokes that add to the subtle details in the show, but more certainly wouldn't hurt. I would also like to see some more character defining detail on even the throw-away characters, like the hell tormentors.

But really, the jokes were all spot on and timed well with the panels. After the story though I did find myself upset. I just wish there was space left for Bongo/Futurama news. There isn't much news on the web when it comes to Futurama, and that used to be a rather nice spot to get Futurama news.

Oh, and I hate having to import doubles of the comics because the Europe versions of the same comics are larger and come with doodads. Not fair! Show USA some lovin'! Oh, and more than six a year would be wonderful, but I'll take what I can get. And bonus points for have ads in the comic for GameTap/Sam and Max, the new game.

i have been a futurama fan for since i was about 9 and have almost all the comics and have all the seasons on dvd. i think this is one of the best comic book of all them (my favriot one is the ash day). i'm a big fan of twilite zone and saw the episode when the guy died and went to hell but he thought he was in heaven if i could i would rate it 1000000000 ... 0000000009

It felt a lot like a Futurama episode to me, much like Farnsworth Parabox and 300 Big Boys. I enjoyed Bender's side-story the best, as he usually found loop holes in the ironic outcomes. I'd always been waiting on a Scary Door story, and this gave me it. Alot of thanks go to this comic's writer on a job well done. This could definetly be an episode.

Another class issue, but not as good as 26.
The artwork was pretty good, the story rocked and there were a lot of funny parts in it.
Overall, very goooooood, but WHERE THE HELL HAS JAMES LLOYD GONE?

It was...meh. I didn't like it but I didn't dislike it. Perhaps one of the most average issues. I liked some of the stuff with the different characters, but over all it didn't carry the same awesomeness that The Scary Door on the actual series does.

I was surprised how entertaining this issue was. The ironic twists were pretty far out and exactly like The Scary Door should be! I couldn't believe it by the time I'd got to the last page because it seemed to be over so quickly, it was pure quality. It makes me hope they actually explore The Scary Door a lot more in the future episodes of the TV show and Movies, this Comic proves there is much potential for it. Very funny too. The only bad thing was some of the art was quite off and the backgrounds plain, especially by Futurama standards...

I always get a kick out of the Scary Door, so for it to get its own story was fun. I suspect it would be even funnier had I seen all these classic Twilight Zone episodes, but clever nonetheless.

Special props to the machine that views parallel universes! The Professor needs to build himself one of those. I hope it's used again for a new TALES OF INTEREST!

This comic book is definitely one of the better ones of the series and I would like to see more stories of this quality and maturity. By the way, Simpsons Comics #126 is printed on better paper and it's a great story to boot! I hope Bongo keeps this trend!
