I got this issue off eBay today, and i think that it was actually a bit of a let-down. From the plot outline it sounded like a great comic but the art wasn't very good and the plot was slow and the end was over too quickly. Sorry to be such a negative review, but i prefer the old comics with James Lloyd artwork and better storylines.

Although not as good as the older Futurama Comics, this is one of the better of the newer ones. The storyline was good. could believe that it could be made into an actual episode.

I thought it was pretty good. The ending wasn't as rushed as people have been saying. The artwork could use a little bit of cleaning up (Mike Kazaleh's style while drawing Leela annoys me a bit).

Lucas E.: This is the first Futurama Comic by Len Wein. He's also got his first Simpsons issue coming out later this month.
No, Matt Groening does not draw the pictures you see in the issue. All he really did was create the characters (ie: originally designed and named them). The pictures in this issue were drawn by Mike Kazaleh, as is indicated by the credits on the first page.

It was a good comic, but not without it's problems. I might be being picky, but surely Panucci's would be more run down than that after 1000 years? It looked as if it came off better than the rest of Old New York for some reason. Why wasn't the auction on eBay? We know eBay still exists because in the episode 'A Leela Of Her Own' Leela is asked to sign as the name eBay. Dr Zoidberg's eyes are normally a very pale blue color, and in this issue for some pannels there were correct, and then in other pannels they were plain white. Mom coming so abruptly might have worked better if it wasn't so near the end of the comic. Other than all those problems it was quite a good issue...

Very poor artwork, the stories are awful. Not suitable for printing, they should stop making this comic. I only read it as a fan (The last decent issue was #24). I wish Patric Verrone would write another story along with James Llyod, awesome artist btw :)

It was overall a god comic, but the artwork could have been better. The plot was great, but it was a little slow at times
