anyways, al gore has always been a fan of the show, surely his fandom an stardom would have even the tiniest effect? or at least show the more "intelligent" population that futurama is way more sufisticated than the simpsons...and better

Well... I guess tou people know G. Bush and FOX's 'relations' so I don't know how well that gos... Al Gore is defintly on my "people that I don't hate so much" list... Looking forword too anything Futurama or An Inconvenient Truth related. Into the future people!

This could boost morale for the team and speed up the whole Futurama straight to DVD thing.

My girlfriend and I (both huge Futurama) fans jumped out of our seats when we saw the "None Like it Hot" clip in the movie. Many other people in the audience seemed excited as well. Maybe Al Gore can use his connections to the end of the Futurama revival ::wink, wink::

BTW: "An Inconvenient Truth" was excellent. I recommend that everyone see it. At least now us Futrama fans have some extra incentive!

Cool, great to see new Futurama material, even if it's only a minute long! I'm guessing that it was probably done on a volunteer basis, because Bender's animation was kinda shoddy. His fingers were all weird, and the part where he was drinking the beer wasn't even animated - it was just a still picture. And the whole 'pimp' thing seemed a bit forced. But hell, why am I criticising?!?!?! It's the first new Futurama in AGES, and I'm bloody glad to see it!

Wow that promo was....lame. I like Futurama, and alot, but that was just dumb. Not at all funny. It will be cool to see the NLiH clip when I see Al's movie though.

hmm,,,,way to yoink my nick, but id have to agree,however it is still good to see something-anything original from the creators who's loyal fans have been salivating at the smallest shred of new futurama footage.-even it it is in a totally unrelated documentary by MR.ENVIRONMENT himself, and his goofy policies....but that is a debate for another chat site...so.in closing clip welcome! new content---defintly will be apprieciated.

I work at a movie theater now and we just got that movie no sees it around here because people dont go to movies to be educated and bored to death by documentarys they go to be entertained but it is still cool that they used bender in a commercial

For all of you Al Gore fans here who think he's some enviromental superhero...

Al Gore is a extraordinarly wealthy man. As an extraordinarily wealthy man, he owns 3 homes. His home in Nashville, TN is a 10,000 square foot, 20 room, eight bathroom home. His home in Arlington, VA is just a modest 4,000(yeah right) square feet home. For someone who is urging a 'moral crusade' against needless consumption, he sure seems to lack moral authority. Unless you have 40 something kids, no one NEEDS a 20 room home. It is the epitome of the conspicuous consumer. Like all politicians, Al Gore wants one law for him, one law for us.

The enviroment is very important to me, and my family. However if you live in a damn mansion, and tell me that I need to consume less, you are a damn liar and a hypocrite. How much energy do his combined homes require? How many resources are wasted in the name of his vanity?

Al Gore is a political animal. He cares very little for the enviroment, and is instead trying to garner political clout. He will do or say anything to appeal to you.

Actions speak louder than words. He lives like a tycoon. He wastes more resources on heating his 10,000 square foot home, that he probably spends very little time in each year, than my modest 1200 square foot home does in ten years. It is really quite rediculous to hear some of you praising him.

See the movie, and while you're watching it, seperate the real issues from the political issues. The political BS does nothing to protect the enviroment, and is only for his ego/lust for power.

While you're considering that, think how many resources Hollywood wastes each year on base entertainment that no one really NEEDS, while all of us NEED clean air, clean water, and an ozone layer. That doesn't even take into consideration the amount of celebrities living in huge homes, and jetting around the World. Even if they're not living in their homes, they still have to be heated/cooled/maintained. If change doesn't start with us, the 'regular' people, with the small things, it never will start at all, because nearly all of these celebrities/all politicians are HYPOCRITES who tell you what you want to hear.

I'm also sorry for spelling it as 'enviroment.' I did it in every single instance so I must be genuinely dumb. I really do care, even if I can't spell it properly, I swear.

"An Incovenient Truth" was a bit of a hit and miss film for me.. but adding the None Like It Hot clip was definitely a nice touch that made me laugh!
