First New Futurama on TV... kinda

Our reader "Ant" notified us on a first appearance of Bender on TV. He was spotted during the cantina scene of the Family Guy "Star Wars" episode.

Nice cameo, also hadthe alien from American Dad and the "evil monkey" was in there too.

'Family Guy' was my favorite show before it returned. Since then I've found it difficult to watch at times with their ridiculously long and boring delayed comedy. The 'Star Wars' episode is the shows best, which is ironic considering it is two parts great comedy and ninety-eight parts delayed comedy.

More Bender is good for any show.

What is taking Fox so long to option for more seasons?

I swear I saw Zoidberg flash by in one of the scenes. Sadly, I was jumping around the channels so I was not able to "Tivo" back through it to verify if I was correct -- or just seeing things.

peet - i saw that as well, not sure if it was intentional though. i'm not a big enough star wars fan to know if there was something that looked like that in the original.

Hold on, wait a minute. I thought they didn't "Serve" Bender's kind there. I guess they must be taking on a more tolerant stance on droids ever since The Emperor fell.

a robot is a working piece of metal made for a specific task a droid is more human based and has multiple functions

I had to see it for myself. I saw the episode but didn't notice Bender, McGurk, or Evil Monkey. I did see Roger though.
