I've been one of this shows biggest fans since the debut years ago. I have pleaded with customers at work and with friends to give zoidberg a chance.

I guess I now know that I'm not alone in supporting one of the all-time greatest cartoons ever created.

If Fry doesn't get with Leela...I'll have to then hope for a reunion with Zapp.

Zoidberg should move in with Bender, too.

See, I dunno what to do about this DVD release. Since I live in the UK I'd rather wait for the Region 2 release so I can watch it on my TV rather than on my PC with a non-widescreen monitor, and can lend it to my family etc. However, I'm worried that if European fans decide to wait the sales in the USA may not be good enough to warrant an international release...

just do it like I did: order the region 1 dvd and buy a dvd player that you can easily change the region code to "0" - which means it can play anything. (i have a philips, it was just punching in some numbers)
then you can watch the dvd this year and your tv :-)

I personally wouldn't want to wait until the european release - who knows when thats gonna be.

seriously right, having no idea when international DVD releases will be isnt really good enough! especially when i can watch it so easily on the internet!

i feel sorry for futurama because its freaks like that, that dont release it simultaiously on all regions that ruin it for international sales and therefore shows like futurama are took off the air because of "poor ratings" when really everyone watching them on the internet! ha

and again, JSB, i dont really want to go fork a load of money out on a 2nd DVD player to watch one DVD, thats why america's gay! lol joke!

just say any words on a rough guess of UK release (region 2) like 2008 or this decade! or anything! grrr! hehe :P

I have a feeling that the reason that international releases have been delayed is that local tv networks may be willing to pay quite a bit so that they can show the four episodes on TV, before the DVDs come out. In Australia, Network 10, which is one of our 'big 3' commerical networks, has been getting very good ratings for old futurama repeats (and have futurama on every day at 7pm). I'm sure they would love to get some new episodes, and if they got them before the DVD release, they would rate even better.

I have a region-free DVD player so I will order from the US anyway...

well then download the episodes, but buy the dvd once it comes out in europe as well. you all read it, futurama is back because of DVD sales, and if they continue to be so high, maybe we get to see even more of it. i will probably buy the region 2 ones they are out as well, to have them available in german in case someone comes over who doesn't speak english that well and wants to watch them. i am just so psyched that futurama will be back, i don't care how much money i will spend on it!
