Can't get enough Futurama

YouTube BwaBB Contest Winner

Thanks to everyone for entering our "Beast with a Billion Backs" YouTube contest. It was a tough decision to pick a winner. The 11"x17" cover print signed by David X. Cohen and Matt Groening goes to "Rebichael", whose video included alien abductions (no tentacles though), disintegration beams and their own rendition of the Futurama theme song.

And since picking a winner was rather tough, we decided to give the runner-up "GrandmaBird" a free (pre-)order of either "Beast with a Billion Backs" or the next Futurama movie "Bender's Game".

Have a look at all the other entries!

wow, that NES-style game (the runner-up) is fantastic! I wonder how that was done? I would like to see Stage 2 :-)

Is this a joke???

Very poorly judged I feel. Did you even WATCH the 'House Invaders' video??

It's all about personal favorites... The Invader one was up at the top of the list, too.

If you didn't like how this one was run, feel free to go start your own contest with blackjack and hookers. :P

i noticed that the one that won used a tripod so that means that that they didn't have a camera man and the only other person in the movie was the alien and they had to resort to duplicating them selves. i guess what im getting at is they have no friends and they suck at playing the theme song and i think they didn't deserve to win. id rather have no one get that poster then them every one who agrees say "I" and another thing there instruments were from Costco and XS cargo. and how can the judges judge on personal favourites when they haven

ahaha.

call a waaambulance. we've got a whiney little baby in need of a punch to the face, stat!

oh, and for the record, when people agree on stuff they say "Aye". not "I". that'd just be retarded.

i guess what I'M getting at is you are a jealous whingey little social leper and you suck at life and i think you don't deserve your breathing tube any more.

also, your face is garbage.

full disclosure: rebichael's wasn't my favourite either, but i'm not judging, so i ain't bitchin'.

To Rebichaelhater
are you blind? there are several times where the winning video doesnt use a tripod.
I'll say aye to;
* the fact that you are a whingey little social leper who sucks at life
* your face is garbage
* and "im not judging, so i aint bitching"!

1step, i like you!

To rebichaelhater268;
I love how you complain about not winning something that wasn't even yours to begin with. The way I see it, that print was the property of mArc. Since it's his, he can give it to who-ever he feels like. He doesn't even have to do a contest or run a website, but he goes out of his way on his own time for others to enjoy this place. Sounds to me like you just want to bitch though, so please go on and live your miserable life.

I agree with the comment by TheVoiceofRaisin.
--The original owner of that cool print arranged a contest for us Futurama fans.
-The contest clearly stated that ONE person was going to decide the winner. I think it is clear that most people thought the NES game was #1, but only the decision of the judge matters.

I enjoyed making my video....it's all about enjoying the journey. It took a lot of work to pull off and I know most people have no idea how difficult it really was.

Anyway, I'm already looking forward to the next DVD. But first I need to look inside and see if I am funky enough to be a Globetrotter...um I mean win the contest.

I happen to know the people who run this website and judged this contest, and let me make it clear that they are very fair and reasonable people. I haven't seen the entries myself, I'm on 56k, and I'm sure there were a lot of good ones. There is no doubt in my mind that they picked the best entries as the winners though.

The thing is, they did something nice and gave back to the community, which they do on a regular basis, and they pick the winners for their contests very fairly. If you didn't win, sorry for that, maybe you can try again next time or somewhere else.

Besides all that, I'm sure the entries stand out on their own and it's fun to see people produce exceptional fanmade material. If you made an entry, you should be proud of your accomplishment regardless of winning or losing.... it's an artistic outlet.

Congratulations to the winners.
