Futurama at Comic-Con 2008 (Report)

Jon - who back in 2003 rode his bike to the FOX HQ to deliver our 1,400-page petition to resurrect Futurama - managed to get tickets to last week's Comic-Con in San Diego. He went to the Futurama panel on Saturday that was run by Matt Groening & David X. Cohen (among others). His report includes information on where Futurama could go in the future and pictures of the event.

Judging from a poster shown at Comic-Con, the release date for the next Futurama movie "Bender's Game" seems to be set to November 4th, 2008.

I got a really good picture of me with that bender. When I walked away smiling i felt like such a nerd.

I was incredibly young when I dropped off those signatures... so 'biking' isn't that far from the truth.

I got up too late for the Futurama screening. Got to the Bongo booth a couple of times. Bill Morrison and his lovely wife did a fantastic job hosting the Eisner awards.
Hey, when are you updating those comic book reviews? We keep making them.

It's also worth noting that it's coming to Blu-Ray. I can't wait to see real HD Futurama!

I'm not sure if you've posted this or not yet, but there's a trailer out for Bender's Game on youtube. just search Bender's Game. :)

Awesome stuff. Pity im from Australia i miss all the action, america has undeniably got the best tv shows and movies. Anyway i still have to get the beast with a billion backs, i was ment to get it when it first came out but a few.. erm money issues came up..lol. cant wait to see it and benders game too, i really do hope they continue after the 4 movies. fingers crossed.
