Futurama Wins Annie Award

After "Bender's Big Score" won the 2007 Annie Award for "Best Home Entertainment Production", Futurama's second direct-to-DVD movie "The Beast with a Billion Backs" just won the 2008 Annie award for "Best Animated Home Entertainment Production". The other nominations were "Batman: Gotham Knight", "Christmas Is Here Again", "Justice League: The New Frontier", and "The Little Mermaid: Ariel

A day after Reuters got it is fine with me seeing that anything I do here is done in my spare time after work.

when i look at the other candidates up for the award, i realise why my friends think it's a kids show. Its got a kinda stigma attatched to it i find, weird how the simpsons never had that problem. The only reason family guy, south park, american dad etc don't is cos they swear we need new swearing episodes of futurama... darn it!

Even though I don't think BWABB deserves the recognition (The first half is good but the second half is atrocious (it's strange that when the title character shows up is when the quality takes a serious dip)) I'm still glad Futurama is getting some applause.

well they stopped posting news now so i go back here once in awhile to see if you did update the shit (pulled a gotfuturama as you will) because of my complaints see when i see thing broken i try to fix them
