Futurama Wins Another Annie!!!

Will they've done it again!!
For the THIRD year running, Futurama walked off with the Annie Award for "Best Home Entertainment Production" for Into The Wild Green Yonder.

The Awards, which recognise achievement in animation, were hosted last night by William Shatner. Futurama has regularly featured in past ceremonies.

A huge congratulations to everyone at the show.

In my humble opinion Futurama is the greatest entertainmemt ever conceived. Their win was much deserved. Also, I'm surprised to hear William Shatner hosted the ceremony. I can't help but imagine his head being in a jar.

Although there wasn't too much competition like there was last year. I was surprised that Beast with a billion backs beat Gotham Knight....Still Congrats and I'm glad Futurama is back baby.

congrats Futurama team!

also, how the hell did Ponyo not win in either of its categories?! it was the only one animated completely by hand. doesn't that count for anything these days? :(

always love to hear futurama news. this is my favorite of the 4 movies. p.s. - watch the movies in short 20-30 minute bursts instead of all at once... they are so much better.

Congrats ITWGY !!! It's the best movie of all the nominated and I can't wait for the new season to come!
I wish it could be aired again on a french channel !

True it's a shame Ponyo didn't win anything but I would point to The Princess and the Frog doing well for showing that, yes hand drawn does count for something...

Sale figures are one thing, but it's always nice to have a trophy to tell you that you did a good job, now isn't it? ;)
