Firstly, yesterday Comedy Central(via Comedy Central Insider) started a series of what will surely be a fascinating look into the new season. Each week day a new image will be posted, giving us a glimpse into season 6. 2 great ones so far of the headless cast and a production sketch by el Groening of a 'Birthing Device'!

They also confirmed what we'd mentioned before, that the new season will start on June 24th with a double bill. Now, we also have a time - 10pm(9pm Central)! A prime slot on the schedule! Thanks Comedy Central!!

    Any word on which writers will be coming back for the reboot?

    Well, through talking with DXC and others, the ones I can count up in my head are: David Cohen & Matt Groening(obviously), Ken Keeler, Pat Verrone, Lewis Morton, Eric Horsted, Mike Rowe, Dan Vebber and Eric Rogers(who'll be having his first solo credit!).
    People I know who AREN'T returning:
    Eric Kaplan(cos he told me-he's doing about 20000 other things at the moment)
    Ron Weiner(who's now doing some cracking work on 30 Rock)

    I'm sure that's right but don't quote that as scripture.

    Who are the voice actors? are they the same supremely awesome peoples?? i hope so... im so glad Futurama is back but im going to be pissed if they dont have the same voice actors!!!!(< 4 exclamation marks that how u kno im serious)

    I'm doing my own Countdown To Futurama sessions including "I.C. Weiner Fest" (All eps that include the phrase "I.C. Weiner? Oh crud" inc the first film) and "The Zapp Brannigathlon" (all eps with Zapp Brannigan)

    Gah, I can hardly wait! While I'm dissapointed Kaplan and Weiner won't be back, I am glad to see how many talented writers will be returning :D
